To much money and very poor material for the money you pay. Only 2 hours bacteria.

This product is overpriced and you need a bridge to access the light through your phone.

You would need a very specific use to enjoy this item. Just not very practical.

The 3 hrs battery could better, but it could be worse. Of the 7 pre-made dynamic scenes, I use the fire one the most. Other than "fire mode," I mostly use it in white light mode. I wasn't sure how much I'd use this when I bought it, but I'm surprised how much I actually do. I've connected it to my Myo for some gesture "magic" effects. It's a handy night light that works great with a sleep timer. It also works as a handy lantern for those late night treks to the pantry for a cookie. Ohh, and you can control it with a phone, Myo, or anything else with API access. Good times.

Returned this item the next day - The change only held for about an hour when unplugged. You could not leave it plugged in as the cord inhibits how it stands. All in all a complete waste of time, I feel this is a big fail for Philips Hue - Purchased the bar light instead much happier with that

Design makes the light difficult to place on a table.

These HueGo's are the real deal. I started out with 2 of them just to make sure they weren't a bust. You need to read the instruction regarding " taking the light offline during charge and remembering the percent the light starts at is 100$ while plugged in, and is brighter. Thus if you unplugged it directly after you turned it on its going to die within an hour. Set up the light via the hue app to 60-70 percent. This is were the 3 hours of life comes from. If you pair this with a smart outlet via Smartthings hub, you can plug it in to charge every night an it will cut power to the outlet after certain time or certain watt usage. Take it off line to charge. It will charge faster.

Obviously I use these in the bedroom and got rid of the regular night and reading light. These provide a more natural light and can be easily adjusted for the type of activity -- for example reading I can use a nice blue or green that still is light but soft on the eyes. These are worth it.

Nice light that I use on countertop to add color to room at nighttime. Good color range, but price is somewhat high

This light is portable and carries its own charge. Can be taken from room to room without being plugged in. Works great as a kids night light or as a "candle" when the electricity is out.

This is a very bright light that lasts for a long time after you unplug it.

Works in so many different scenarios. Outside or indoors this product works so well

I would highly recommend the Hue Go to anyone at any age. The only reason I give it only 4* rather than a full 5* is due to its limited use without a Hue Bridge connected to Wi-Fi. The device itself has the name "Go" but truly without the Hue Bridge connection you have limited color choice and brightness option while literally on the "Go"

Picked up the lamp to look at it. Instantly sold it self! So many light features and colors to choose from. Works superb with the phone app. 10 out of 10 would recommend this product to a friend or family member.

One of the selling points of this device is that it has a bunch of animated transitions that you can activate. The partial truth is that you can only access many of these animated transitions, like candle flicker, from the button on this device. Philips do not give you access to these animations from the app that is used to control it. Therefore, you can not use the app to trigger candle flicker, or any other animation, on a particular schedule or on demand.

My teenage daughter loves the changing light colors!

Expected this to actually produce a measurable amount of light (Like a mini bloom) unfortunately I was wrong. Super underwhelmed. Glorified, overpriced, night light.
