A little expensive but worth it. It's nice to change the light's colors to lights that are easier on your eyes. Also nice to use them with the Amazon dot/echo and control them with your voice

The product it easy to set up and works great. My kid like to play with the different settings.

Bulbs are expensive, but the automation and the millions of different colors they produce are with the price. Now connected to to Google Home, they can be operated with just your voice.

I wanted this kit for a while. Really happy with this purchase and the assistance at my local Best Buy. If you are on the fence....go get the kit. Quality, easy to set up and easy to use.

I bought the starter pack for it's price and to test out the product. Very nice and cool. Changing the lighting really does help change the mood. I also let my 9 year old daughter pic her own scene and gave it her name. One thing though is that it gets very costly.

Definitely worth getting this version to have choices to change colors. I'm able to turn on my lights anywhere. Before I walk in my home I tell Siri to turn on my room or desk lights.

I was hesitant to choose Hue because of the price, but I had a few coupons and reward cash, so I decided to give it a try. Great decision. I use a sleep tracker app that works with Hue to simulate a sunrise every morning. Waking up is a lot more pleasant, especially in the dead of winter when it's still dark outside in the morning. There are lots of apps that integrate seamlessly with Hue, and for those that are not fully compatible, IFTTT fills that gaps. My friend bought one of the off brands that has a lot of the same functionality. His lights were less expensive but a little less reliable, so the choice really comes down to your priorities.

Great product. Easy to set up and control. The individual bulbs are a bit expensive.

Was looking for something fun around the house. Starter pack was a little pricey but now have everything needed to expand this lighting. Enjoy turning lights on from the drive way or changing colors to set my mood, or even set to change with music.

I love these lights . Being able to control them from my Apple Watch is just too much. The lights them self work awesome but the App needs some attention.... But if your persistent there are many 3rd party apps that work very well. I plan to expand with additional bulbs when possible/

My kids have really enjoyed the Hue voice controlled system. Instead of having to feel around for a light, they just order it on. Plus there are more and more things they can do with the Google Home system. Temp, weather, simple math, definitions, play music, etc.

Installed the app and connect the hub to the wireless router, it works smoothly. Very easy to setup and control the color by my iphone. The color scenes is very useful.

Bought these for accent lighting over basement bar and definetly adds to the ambiance of the room. Apps are a must have to take full advantage of these and also pais with the Nest smoke alarm for added safety. I'm satisfied but at this price not pratical to light the entire house which would be great.

Great lights for entertainment and leisure a little expensive for a novelty.

Bought these to stockpile for our new house. Love the options of colors and locations available, plus the integration between HomeKit and Amazon Echo add to cool factor.

These bulbs work great and work as advertised. The colors are great, but that feature is a bit of a novelty that wears off quickly. I almost always have these set to a "normal" white light setting -- in which case I should have just bought the much cheaper white-only bulbs. There's a few minor things keeping these bulbs from getting give stars. The app interface is awful. I connected my bulbs to a Logitech Pop, and use that to turn them on and off rather than having to use the app. The Hue bridge also doesn't play well with other smart bulbs. If you're completely tied into the Hue ecosystem -- which would be really expensive -- then it isn't a problem, but the Hue bridge isn't ideal if you're planning to use bulbs from other manufacturers. I got the Hue bridge to work with other bulbs, but its buggy and unreliable.

These do exactly what I was looking for. I use them to customize the amount of light in my room at any given time, as well as to set particular moods. My favorite use is to link them to my alarm clock app on my phone. Now my lights gradually come on as i am waking up.

I went into Best Buy to get the $80 2 white bulb kit with the hub and walked out with this instead for 2 reasons: 1. The white bulb kit had the old gen hub and I wanted to use it with HomeKit 2. It included another bulb and had a higher cost for what you got The colors are a bit of a novelty and most settings are simply not bright enough. I find myself just using the white color temp more than the actual colors. I've downloaded numerous apps but they all do more or less the same thing. Nice to be able to set timers and check if the lights are on remotely. For the price however I would not buy these again if I knew the experience beforehand. Pretty underwhelming.

*Doesn’t have all the colors of the rainbow. Greens and oranges ar difficult for this. And the bulb connection to the bridge gets spotty after some distance (less than the WiFi range). It also can’t have 2 people singed in to the bride to use the app when not at home.

This is a great starter kit to get into the smart connected lights game. The hub is great and works with other lights to get more lights connected at a lower price point. I would recommend this to anyone looking to automate and add some color to their lives.
