Perfect bulb that will wow you and provide you with an amazing look of any room

It's an awesome product. Had a bit of a challenge hooking it up to Amazon Echo.

I bought the set because every time I buy a light it's either too bright or too hello or too white. With these I I don't need to settle! The colors are fun too! With the Amazon echo and the changes are simple. I really enjoy this product!

I have to say I'm 31, and I love that I'm in this generation that gets to see stuff like this come in to play. It's a lot of fun to keep up on the newest technology and this is right up there in that category. It works great for it's purpose, I think it's overpriced considering how far the market has come with this kind of stuff.

Great set of lights. There are so many cool things you can do with them. I like the way you can set them to act like a setting sun. We use the night light setting in my son's room. They work perfectly. They also work well with my Amazon echo.

The Philips Hue is an amazing product and I would tell any friend about it.

If you are looking for fun ways to light your place then this is the way to go. Plugged it in, downloaded the App and I was off. Great scenes to choose and easy to make your own. Set up timers and geofencing so I never come home to a dark place.

Hue lights offer the convenience of lighting rooms through a spectrum of colors and brightness via mobile device. The personal lighting system also offers scheduled lighting, location-awareness features, and capability to sync with music and movies. And this product is an investment, so tread carefully and do some research beforehand.

the different colors are very nice but mostly i like the ability to automatically turn the lights on and off based upon my coming and going / time of day, etc. Works exactly as advertised. I plan to add bulbs soon to expand the coolness.

It's been easy and fun setting up my new Philips hue lights. They are exactly as promised. Alexa and Yonomi control the lighting by voice request. Numerous other apps are available that provide a variety of experiences. All round awesome!!

I have had the Phillips Hue system for over 2 months now and I have really enjoyed having it. It is nice to be able to set different ambiances for a room that really changes how I feel being at home. The system is easy to setup and use.

This is a great set of technology for controlling the light in your house. I liked this starter pack and the ease with which I can set up each bulb. The one issue I have is that there is no music sync that the lights can simulate with.

I really love that I can pair these with my Amazon Echo, and the app that makes them change colors with the music.

Phillips makes quality products, these lights are one of them. Can be controlled several ways, Phillips apps as well as others. The only thing I think they need is more styles, bases, etc.. Other than that, they are the best there is.

Purchased the Hue Color kit Gen 2 along with some Hue White bulbs and set them up to work in less then 15 minutes. Great product if you are into home automation. Will definitely looking to expand my hue collection in the future.

I bought this for my home and I have to say, they are great. What I like most is the possibility to schedule time to turn on/off the lights, geofencing and Siri integration (I have an iPhone). I don't use the colors features that much so If I had the chance to back I would go for the simpler starter kit that is cheaper

Very good lights and easy to use with Hue app. I would recommend using third party apps for additional lighting options. Love the routine option where my lights will turn off when I leave and come on when I arrive. There are other options that allow you to program various time when the lights will come on or turn off.

I honestly was not looking or shopping for the Hue lighting, but just ran across the store display and was immediately captivated. In the past, I frequently bought pink incandescent light bulbs. They did not make the room look pink, but rather created what was called "light of dawn". You know, that soft natural light when the sun is going down. I hate the harshness of white fluorescent lighting. Well as you may know, incandescent bulbs are being phased out and are even illegal in some states in favor of more energy-efficient CFC bulbs. The Hue lighting is LED, but with every color in the rainbow and variable dimming at your fingertips, you can create any mood with lighting instantly. Hue has it's own app, but there are lots of other third-party apps available to do lots of cool programmable things.

The starter kit is great. It was easy to setup and it works great. The app is a little busy and with the introduction of Gen 2 the scenes saved on the Gen 1 app will not transfer over properly. Besides that it works as advertised.

The starter kit is the best value since it comes with a bridge. After that, you can add all the lights you want. You can choose to set lighting based on the hues of a personal image. My daughter likes settings based on pictures.
