I had been watching this product since generation 1, trying to decide if it was a good idea or not. I finally splurged and I haven't been disappointed. I use mine with my alarm clock and it's actually helped regulate my sleeping. Biologically we are light sensitive, so adding this element to my daily routine has been invaluable. I'd absolutely recommend.

I was looking for a very bright light bulb that I can control. After I installed them, controlling them was easy, but I noticed that the lights weren't giving me the brightness that I wanted. Saw that they are only 800 Lumen. Wanted 1600 Lumen. Returned these and bought Lifx bulbs which are 1600. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!

The Hue is the best. Goes great with the Alexia to set the mood.

I would recommend this product. Many applications for use. The only issue is cost. Need lower cost to expand layout.

I use my Hue lights with Samsung Smartthings and it works great.

This kit will get you started. I've heard that the 3rd gen sets produce better color but this one does just fine. Native app is not very robust. Try App Store for more options for apps to create animations and moods. These bulbs last 25k hours and produce nice warm incandescent light too! Sets a mood at home for relaxing, entertaining. Love them!

Believe the hype, Philips hue is an awesome addition to your home.

Nice lights to use with the app or remote switch. They need to come up with a replacement switch for the wall socket.

Hue is awsome when it works it was losing connection with first two bridges keep having to return finally third time seems to be working some bulbs had to be taKen back cuz they wouldn't pair no help from Phillips or best buy on line Google problems better support from Google lights are awsome but they can be brighter and would be nice to connect to Windows 10 and roku tv amd plex media server

Super easy to setup the bridge and the light bulbs. iOS app is pretty good, not sure why it was rated so low in the app store. (But this is my first experience of the Philips Hue, so not sure how much better the previous app was) However, once I configured it to work with my Alexa, I rarely use the app anymore. Great product and great home improvement

I rate it a three. It has a mind of it's own. It will turn on and off by itself. I like not having to turn the lights off before I leave, geo-fencing is awesome.
