Awesome kit to get started with smart light bulbs. I highly recommend for those that are just starting. Simple to setup and use. And the colors are great! There are many apps that work with philips hue which makes the ecosystem even better, since the possibilities of new features are always grown. Highly recommend picking this up.

Great product easy to use. But I tend to turn off the lamp instead of the bulb which defeats the purpose.

Once you start purchasing the hue eco system you won't stop. Everyone is impressed at the things you can do and I still have fun with them 2 years after initial purchase. I own 4 down floods, 12 A19 bulbs, the hue go and lost count how many strips I have bought. Definitely recommend. Lights create such an amazing ambiance!

Using in bedroom and family room (where lamp is on high armoire). It is fun to show off to friends who have never seen a Hue in action and to simply tell Alexa to turn off my wife's nightstand light when she goes to bed. Alexa sometimes misunderstands me (I am soft-spoken) but that is not Hue's fault. Only issue is green is still not a strong point of color range but, heck, how often do you really need a green light at home?

So much fun and easy to use too. Really ennoying it.

while its kinda sets a mood in some ways when you go to use one of the many different apps there are for the controls only one app seems to be ok

Easy to switch on. Gets connexted easily with internet. No need to get up to switch off or on lights.

I have these light in several rooms in the house, they are great when you have them on timers for turning them on and off. I prefer to use two apps that take care of this. My only two complaints is the color green is very limited as well as if you lose power all the lights come on white, not bad unless you lose power at 0200.

This is an excellent product to begin your home automation journey. It contains everything you need to create your automation environment and when you pair it with an Amazon Echo, turning on and off the lights has never been easier. I not only purchased the starter kit but a few additional lights to light the entire house.
