Good color and control, integrates with Alexa devices, 3rd gen devices are out now and even better.

I got these bulbs to install in my bedroom, mainly for the sunrise and sunset routines that are apart of the app. It helps me wake up better in the morning and fall asleep easier at night. You can do so much with these bulbs. If you're looking for something in the smart lighting department I'd highly recommend this set.

It is a novelty item for now - I haven't made it work for my home yet but will figure it out soon. I am checking out IFFFT for possibilities. Maybe with nest fire alarm? Also for fun, I plan on having flashing orange on Halloween - wouldn't that be cool? Does anyone know how to make it go back to its preset color every time I turn it on automatically? Because it seems whenever I turn it on it goes back to its default color.

Obviously these things are a bit pricey. But I do love my lights very much. Very nice for setting moods in the house throughout the day. Love syncing all my lights with the disco app and having a dance party with my kids. Also nice to be able to turn on lights for a few hours in the evenings when we are out of town.

Easy to install and looks cool. Love how you can control everything with you mobile device.

Bought this set after I was having trouble trying to install a dimmer switch onto a pendant light. We decided to go with the color lights v the white to give us more options, especially during the holiday season. Everything has worked as advertised, the App is especially helpful. The only down side is, as some other reviews have commented some of the colors are not as crisp as they should be for the price you are paying.

I was a bit skeptical about the hue lighting system at first but after buying it its a feature you're going to want to have all around your house if you're a big gadget person. Along with the google home the ability to turn off ,on almost all of any of the lights in your house is pretty neat.

Although, ridiculously expensive, I am so very happy with the Phillips Hue that after buying and trying the Starter Set in my living/dining room, I also purchased an additional bulb for my bedroom and 2 of the Light Strips. It is hard to justify the cost, but with the right app (Hue Pro in Google Play Store, which allows access to the bridge outside of home wifi) the lights make my apartment very happy.

This is a good bulb but does a bad job on some colors. Green is the worest. Next to the led strip it looks more yellow then green

A little tricky to figure out complex task like changing with music and interaction with other devices such as echo dot. However product works as advertised. Set for activities such as vacation, work mode, etc...if cost and time were no object I would fill my house up with these lights.

I purchased this in addition to the hue lightstrips and although the price is steep, the quality is top notch. Better to buy once than buy cheap and have problems!! I own probably 15 hue color bulbs along with several light strip kits and have had zero problems with any of them!! will buy more!

A very cool product, but it is very annoying that you can only operate your lights with a) an app on your phone or b) by purchasing an additional physical switch for another SIXTY DOLLARS! Everything works fine but you'd better be absolutely certain having colored lights are really important to you cuz, wow, are they expensive.

Love the ability to control lights remotely works great. Ties into Echo nicely.

Ok- first off these lights are cool! Got them just before Christmas and setting things up in red and green for the season has been fun. Have tied them into Alexa and like the verbal commands. The set up guide leaves a lot to be desired and got a little frustrated working through the initial process. Alexa doesn't currently change colors but understand that should be available soon.

I bought the Philips Hue white & color ambiance kit for my media room. It was very easy to set up - just a matter of downloading the Hue app from iTunes, connecting the Hue bridge to my wifi, and swapping out the old bulbs for the Hue bulbs. I had it configured and working within minutes!

As an avid gamer being able to set the lighting of my room to enhance the game I'm playing is awesome. This is my fourth led bulb and I plan on changing all the lamps in my house.
