We bought this for fun. It really is easy to set up and has great features. Kids love it!

This is actually my third set of Philips Hue Light bulbs and I could not be more satisfied. This set came with the new Hue Bridge that I can control with Siri. Before these I controlled my system with Amazon Alexa but was limited to off and on. Now I can tell Siri to turn them on and off and also choose what color I want them to be. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great lighting product that I am using in our home theater/family room. The ability to control lighting options is available with an android or iPhone app. Highly recommend it if you are interested in variable color lighting system.

The bulbs and bridge are easy to install and setup. I have both color and the white bulbs as well as several of the dimmer switches. The only issue I have had is one of the dimmer switches keeps reseting to the default for which scene pressing "on" goes to. It is easy to reset and has only happened a couple of times.

I know it seems like a lot of money but these things are really cool and worth every penny my favorite part is how I can control everything with Siri and the integration with other smart home gadgets using IFTT

Got this package of 3 Hue color lights and the bridge for my home theater/play room. The lights are great, can really fine tune the exact color output with a high level of control. The bridge works good, takes a bit of time to setup, just a bit more complicated than I would have anticipated.

I purchased this kit to work with the Amazon Echo (Alexa). I works great for controlling the lights in my home and its a lot of fun to change the color of the lights. The app also works well from my tablet.

I was going to use these outside to be able to change things up outside, but they're not made for outdoor use--though the bulbs say suitable for damp locations. I already have wemo light switches for my outside lights, which are pointless with these because you have to leave the switch "on" to control them. I don't know, I just don't get it for $200. Probably going to return it all because we don't want to keep the wemo switches on all the time and we can just swap out the bulbs when we want a change.

I love these lights. Paired with the Amazon Echo, I don't really have to think about where my light switches are .Think about that for a little while.

I wish the app ecosystem made a little more sense, but they work as demo'ed and described. It really makes you able to totally set a mood. And the LED's are power efficient and should last nearly forever.

The neither A19, nor the GU10 bulbs can not produce a pure blue....the strip LEDs do. After some research, it seems that this is an inherent limitation of the system.

I purchased this about a week ago. The internal Philips app is decent, although limited. For most of the features you have to download the IFTTT app, which is complicated and cumbersome in its simplicity. You can only use pre-programmed control possibilities. The only way to get ahold of the creators is through Twitter. There is no searchable forms for people with probably the same questions. So you just have to keep twitting them. I had to make a Twitter account just for this. Receive a text and your lights flash multiple times, making it difficult to do things when your lights are going on and off, try to add a "once" and nothing happens. Not to mention I'm using the verizon messager+ app I have a decent delay (not so much on the Samsung integrated app). So far have been more infuriated trying to work with the app then any usefulness received. Manually changing the light colors and turning things on and off through the Phillips app has been pleasant though and nice, with a dedicated old phone it would be a good house remote. Even that app has fairly limited capabilities and restrictions. If you have the 2 bills to burn and want something to kill hours then ya get them otherwise don't bother

Green looks like a sample you'd give the doctor. Blue is pale white. Philips offers zero product support if you're unhappy. Reds come out great if you want to look like a cathouse.

Worked for a few hours and then lost connection from the hub to the bulbs. Reset hub and was never able to get connected again. Support articles are almost non-existent from Phillips. This was a colossal waste of time. Returned the kit and the dozen or so additional bulbs that I purchased. BestBuy was great about returning them, as always. Just disappointed it didn't work. I purchased OSRAM somewhere else afterwards and that was a very simple setup and no problems so far..
