I first purchased the Philips - Hue White and Color Ambiance A19 Starter Kit and synced with with my new Google Home. I love asking Google to turn my lights on, off, and to change color. These strip lights are perfect under my library wall unit that I turned into a bar. Works great with Google too! I can't wait to find other places in my house to put more of these.

We installed this as an accent to our bar, and it’s perfect. We used small Command Hooks, instead of using the sticky backing, to place it under the outer edge of our bar, and it looks terrific! It’s wonderful to be able to control this with voice via the Echo, and it adds a nice ambience to the bar area.It was easy to install and set up, and is super easy to use.

lights are very bright but a bit expensive wait for them go on sale

I've enjoyed a cheaper set of warm white led lights for a year or so and they worked pretty well but I had them plugged into a smart plug. Im trying to go away from smart plugs as I find that they are about 90% reliable with Alexa and that 10% is really irritating when they do not work. I saw the Hue light strip on sale and made the purchase. As with my other Hue bulbs, you just plug them in, the Hue app recognizes them, and the work! The Alexa app will recognize them but you still have to manually add them to groups and routines. They are nice and bright behind my tv and behind my couch. I usually keep the ones behind my couch at 60% since they are so bright. You can use the color wheel to find almost any color. It would be nice to type in a color code and it just find the exact color (ex. Tennessee Orange). They only negatives are these things are sooooo expensive (Closed to $100 with the extension to place it behind my tv stand), they do not bend well, and they can only show one color at a time. I do recommend them and I am happy with my purchase and the biggest thing is...THEY WORK every time!

I have had this light strip now for a few months and I love it. The whites are actually white and I love the fact I can change the color to anything I would like. It works really well with Alexa as well. I can have Alexa change the color and brightness with my voice. If you want a color other then in the normal spectrum, you will need to use the Hue app.

Easy set up. Really livens up a room. Works great with Alexa. Wished you could use the leftover portions for other lighting.

bought lightstrip, starter kit and the lamp that you can recharge (which is awesome by the way) the controller apps are really terrible, i am shocked philips itself didnt put together a decent app for something this expensive. the lights are cool, hooked them up to my harmony , once every week the bridge disappears i have no idea why. its good but looking back and seeing that i spent 350 bucks on light bulbs makes me really doubt my own intelligence at times, however hues are awesome products if you want to throw away some cash

This was very simple to install and use. I installed it on the back side of my headboard on the bed and gives a great updated look to the wall and surrounding light. Down side is if your strip is too long and you have to cut to size, you can't use what you cut off. I wish Philips would come up with a kit to enable to reuse what was removed.

I bought this as a Black Friday deal and it was well worth the money! The setup is very easy and I loved that I could link it with my Google Home. I also love all the different color options these lights offer.

IF you want COOL INDIRECT Lighting this is your best choice. YES I believe it is a bit pricy however compared to other led strips this one has mobile app that gets constant updates by phillips and has many options including routines for everyday on, off & fade options. This was the reason I purchased 3 HUE led strip sets from phillips.

These are easy to pair to hub. Lights are really bright.

These are so cool! I installed them on all four walls, near the ceiling of my creative space (haha garage). They produce outstanding color and a lumen range from almost off to brilliant. Integrates well with Alexa. One thing I didn't like was the adhesive strip which runs the full length. I do not like attaching things like that (can not change angle and a dust hoe). Lowe's sells clear plastic tubes as fluorescent light tube protectors. I bought several and (carefully) attached as many of the four foot lengths as I needed for each wall. Inserted the strips (not pealing the tape off the back). Then a nail every four feet or so holds them securely while allowing rotation to change the light direction to suit my needs. Great product!

So, I have gone all out for the hue system. I put these in the living room under some open stairs which lead to the second floor loft. A perfect accent and adds some creativity to the place when people come in. Easy to use. Plan where you want them first. The adhesive is good, but I wouldn't want to move these once they are up.

Lights are extremely bright. Fairly easy installation.
