I have a dark corner kitchen. I needed additional light so it could be a usable space. Setup was a snap and I didnt have any problems with them sticking. I also added a light switch / dimmer that can be placed wirelessly anywhere. The light switch is with the over head light switch on the kitchen wall so I dont have to use an app to turn on. The light that it gives off is bright and can be easily adjusted.

The initial cost of these is steep however i wouldn't have it any other way now! this light strip is bright and done on the back of the TV brings you that much deeper into the action! must have for 4k enthusiasts.

Philip Hue smart lights in my opinion lead the smart light market with no competition. They have fantastic products and you can do or see anything you want with your lights. As far as the strip goes there's a couple things I wish I could change. The adhesive on the back is not strong enough to stick on walls or ceilings so that's kind of a bummer. I wish they had a much stronger adhesive on the strip. The last thing I would change is to make it brighter. It does get petty bright and does provide good quality light, however there are times I wish it put off even more light. Overall it's a great product and I will continue buying more lights and making my whole home smart lit.

We got these lights to put behind the TV to set up for movie watching. We have fun using the app to adjust the color depending on the movie. We also have used them to add extra light. They were easy to set up and are perfect accent pieces. They have sticky adhesive on the back so you can put them on the wall. The power cord is long and if you want additional lights the extension isn't too expensive. They are dimmable as well and color changing.

They seem a little pricey but are well worth the money. They add great light in millions of colors anywhere you want them and the app controls (especially third party apps) are great for ambiance and effects)

I started off with one of the light strips to test given the cost but quickly bought more. I have 5 in my house right and will purchase additional. They are under the counter in the kitchen, on the mantle above the TV, behind the TV, under the kitchen Island and one behind our son's bed. They create great indirect back lighting and tied in seamlessly with our Google Home for voice control. It would just be nice if they were a little less pricey, but so far have been worth every penny.

I have them on my kitchen cabinets, what I really like is the options to change from brightness to colors. The only cons I have are the lightstrips adhesive doesn't look very strong to hold them, in time they might fall off and second while I didn't use the whole strip I have a good chunk left. I still haven't figure it out what are my options since it only comes with one power brick. Still I will recommend if you can get them on sale.

Overall these are a good product. It's nice to be able to trim them if you want them a little shorter. The 2 sided tape is holding pretty well so far and that's on the back of my TV, which has a matte surface, so I'm happy about that. The cost is a little high for these lights but they look great.

Overall great product, but the Hue packaging is a bit misleading. I only gave it 4 stars because I thought the colors on the strip were adjustable but really you can only dim the light. Otherwise, it was easy to set up and comes with good quality tape to put the light strip up just about anywhere.

Needed an under bed night light for the kids. This with 1 extension, almost went around the whole base of a twin bed. Works well with google assistant on a google home. Wish I could show multiple colors on one strip but you can only set it for one scene or color. There are multiple LEDs but they all work together to only show the one color or scene. Hue lights are overpriced but work well. Bought these on a sale with 1 extension for 70 bucks. Easy to install and hook up to google. Make sure you know where you want to stick it and measure first.

The strips are very bright, good color range and good dimming range. Easy to use and offer a lot of installation options. A little expensive and Need to offer 90 degree angle connectors.

I love my new Phillips Hue strip. I just sit and change the colors thru out the day and night. Very easy to set up and install on smart device. Has timers to come on and shut off, very bright. Love It.

I purchased this as light strip as an alternative to more expensive track lighting in a guest room- I am happy to say that this is more than adequate at lighting up a room. I liked it so much that I purchased it for other rooms as well as an option for behind my TV to backlight the TV. It adds so much to the viewing experience! The only thing to be aware of is that the adhesive doesn't stick well if removed and reapplied elsewhere- so be sure of the location before peeling and sticking.

This really brings our hue system together in my daughters room. She had a dark are because of recessed light locations so we added the light strip there and now it’s the brightest place in here room!

I already use several of the Philips lights in my house and wanted to get this for my 4 year old so that late at night the room light could be turned off but my little one would still have some light, he enjoys picking out different colors each night. I would like to see in the future long lengths along with the ability to attach or unattached sections with out having to throw out the part you took off. Being able to remove sections and then attach them back later I think would be a big thing.

Love Hue!! They’re expensive but works great with Alexa. I spent way more money than I needs to but the accent lighting is really cool. I put one of the strips behind the tv and it looks awesome.

Very pleasantly surprised by the lightstrip. I wasn't sure if it would be more like the bloom (which lacks certain color tones) but this lightstrip offers the same colors as the 3rd gen lightbulbs and maybe even a bit more vivid on certain shades of blue and green. I have the lightstrip along the back of my TV and it looks great! One thing to note is that it varies greatly in the level of brightness. One of my biggest complaints about the lightbulbs is that even at their lowest setting, they're still very bright, but the lightstrip happily can get very dim when I need it to. It also gets very bright. Will easily be seen during the daytime. Overall a fantastic product and would buy again if I ever decide to apply more accent lighting to my home! ***friendly note for those who don't know how much to buy. I have a 55 inch TV and I put the lightstrip and extensions along the very outer edge of my TV and ended up using the lightstrip along with 2 extenders. The second extender will overlap the original position a little bit, but would definitely recommend buying two extensions for a 55 inch TV

We recently installed granite countertops in our kitchen and wanted lighting mounted under our cabinets to brighten the room and highlight the stone. Traditional fluorescent lighting wasn't special enough. We loved that we could add on to our Hue lights in the living room. It took a little "engineering" because of the way our kitchen is shaped, but now we can say "Hey Siri" or use the magnetic dimmer we placed on the side of our fridge, to change the ambiance of our kitchen anytime.

This is my second Hue light strip. Since I already had controller, it was an easy set up. Using it in wake up mode for gradual light to a brighter first thing in the morning, like a rising sun.

Picked up the lights to give the tv in the game room some added effect and so far im very satisfy with them. Everyone that comes in thinks its really cool. Easy to install and easy to customize.
