I admit the the Lightstrip is a bit pricey since there are cheaper alternatives, however they are still totally worth it. Particularly for kitchen cabinet lighting. Easy to set up and lights are beautiful. I purchased these when on sale ($60), the price was not as brutal.

I bought this with the intention of illuminating a wall in my multimedia room, but it ended up creating a reflection on the projector screen case. So I gave it to my daughter who lined her entire bed frame with it. She loves it and uses it as a night light which is linked to Alexa.

I like these lights strip, there extremely bright but the issue I have with it is the 3mm tape isn't strong enough. I would of like fit the light strip to be longer

We love our light strips! They were easy to install and to operate. Used them on our bookshelves to highlight the special items that we display there. The only con is that the adhesive didn't hold up. I easily remedied that by purchasing adhesive tape at Lowes and reaffixing. Worth the $$

These gen 2 light strips are definitely brighter with broader color range than the gen 1 strips, and now can finally be linked together in segments rather than be standalone single strip only. I used them as under-cabinet counter lights, and they do that job very, very well. I only knock a star off because they are expensive for what you get, and Best Buy always charges full price with rare discounts on these products.

These lights can be placed pretty much anywhere. With the ability to set them on a schedule, there is not much use for a light switch. I have one strip on top of a floating shelf which is set to fade-in in the evenings and also fade out later at night, after the typical household bed time. With the Hue app, you can also set the "scene" that you wish to have the light come on as. It's very cool and totally worth the price.

I love the Hue light strip. It gets very bright and really adds great ambiance to my living room. I have the unit installed behind my television credenza and it provides the perfect amount of light to enhance my television watching experience. Phillips Hue products are really great!

The colors of the lights look amazing. Easy to control with either an app on or your phone or downloading it to your pc. Easy to use and put up light strip. You might want to use gorilla tape to keep lights stuck to surfaces.
