These lights are amazing and add more than you can imagine to the scene you want in the room.

bought for my son, for his room. these lights have so many different colors you will love it!

The colors of the lights look amazing. Easy to control with either an app on or your phone or downloading it to your pc. Easy to use and put up light strip. You might want to use gorilla tape to keep lights stuck to surfaces.

I have several Hue products and these are phenomenal accent lights. I use them to enhance my multi media setup and the colours are vibrant. They compliment all scenarios be it watching movies or gaming. Easy to install & A quality product !

I bought the Philips hue light strip to stick to the back of my 4k TV. It really adds ambiance while watching a movie and sets the mood. With the app on your smartphone or tablet, you can change the color of the lights, or set timers to turn them on or off automatically. I love these lights!

I purchased the Philips Hue LED light strip for my bar. After purchasing this kit, and two LED strip extensions, my bar was finally lit up! I love that I can tell my Amazon Dot to change the colors, turn it off and on. I also use this as a night light. The LED lights are extremely bright at 100%. It's always fun when people come over who have never been over and I tell Alexa to 'turn on bar' and the interior lights up. Of course I have to play with the color scenes on my Philips Hue App. The lighting responses well with music when played as well. My only complaint is that you can only purchased the long strip in the kit, and the short 3ft extension separately. Would be nice to purchase the long strip by itself or even different lengths, Depending on where I would place them. Overall, great product! When looking at the price points, you get what you pay for, and currently you're paying for the new lighting technology. Hopefully the prices will drop some over time.

I love this Lightstrip, it's very bright and colorful and has so many different options to customize it!

The Hue Lightstrip Plus is the most recent addition to my ever expanding Hue collection. I spent a good deal of time researching the best platform for smart lighting and Philips met my needs the best. To the Lightstrip Plus... I held out for awhile in hopes that Philips would release a single color strip vs the colored lights. The colors are nice, but the reality is I just want single color warm white. There's no sense in paying extra for a feature I'm not going to use. The one thing that sold me on these vs the others or even the 1st generation was the brightness. These are surprisingly bright. Much brighter than expected. Fortunately, with the app you can control the color and brightness. Speaking of the Hue app for iOS. I've read a few different reviews of people complaining about the Hue app. Personally, I don't have an issue with it. It's very intuitive for adding lights, creating scenes and schedules. I'm not doing any IFTTT programming, just simple lights on/off at certain times.

We used this to replace our old florescent under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. The install was a breeze and the lighting is perfect. The ability to voice command and change colors is a real asset in the kitchen... Love this product!

Tested the lights, and it works just like any other Hue product. That alone makes it a 4 star item. The fifth star gets deducted due to Philips removing the ability to be even more flexible with these lights, than it is possible. Cutting strips and the rest going unused is not ideal. Too much would be wasted if you only need a little bit. Also, 90 degree bends are definitely needed, since sometimes you don't want the bend showing up. Those pet peeves are enough to remove one star, but the product in its essence is good. Wish it was a little more friendly to the DIY community.

If you already have the Hue Hub then you are going to want this as part of your Hue household set up. I picked this up in the Best Buy store for $69.99 as an accent light under my island bar. It works great so far. The only concern is whether the 3M tape is going to hold, but so far so good.

Although they are costly, the ease of setup and “hue” app make it worthy of the cost. Yes other light strips are cheaper (cost and quality) and some other do a bit more (sync with music). But these do as advertised very well.
