Phillips Hue lighting is my new addiction. Is it necessary? Absolutely not, but man is it cool. I use this strip behind my TV and the Phillips Hue Entertainment app on my computer. Watching "normal" TV will never be the same. My only minor complaint is the adhesive and outlets. I had a tough time getting it to stick to the TV, i invested in some 3M adhesive strips and voila. Also, I wish there was an option to plug various lights into one so it only takes up one outlet. If you're plugging the strip into one outlet and that's the only Hue light around, no big deal, but when you start expanding your set up, the number of outlets you start needing increases.

Very easy to set up and colors are great. Need to have app on phone or tablet to experience the different color shades. Works great (on/off) with Amazon Echo. Will be buying more strips for other areas of home.

Easy to conceal. Beautiful colors! I have mine behind my tv and what a great addition. I will say it is a little difficult to negotiate on the corners.

This one can be used as you TV back light themes / moods. Also to light up your bed, on a desk, computer, you name it! It has very cool brightness and has sticky back to easy installation.

These lights are amazing. They change color to your preference and can easily be used using an app on your phone. How cool is that? Colors are bright and vibrant and easy to hook up and use. A no brained!

Got this to go with my new Google team of devices. Woks just fine and I now have a Holiday light show waiting for me before I open the door. Keep in mind all these connected devices are a pain to set up and some time you need another smart plug to get your set-up working the way you envision but it pays of when you see how beautiful this strip can make your house/room be and better than have to take a lamp with you when you move.

I own several Hue lightbulbs and some motion sensors, and I wanted a lightstrip for the top of a couple closets. It couldn't have been simpler to install. I just peeled off the backing, stuck it to the top of the closets and plugged it in. I immediately was surprised at how bright it was. I wasn't expecting quite so much light, but that was a good thing. Colors aren't quite as accurate as the light bulbs themselves, but I was still able to cycle through all the colors I utilize. The only annoying thing was that the backing you have to peel off are in 5 to 6" strips. So you have to peel off a ton of them. A little tedious, but you only have to do it once. All in all I'm very happy with it.

I added the is to my Hue kit of 3 lights. I placed the lights on top of my kitchen cabinets where they cannot be seen. When I turn the lights on they glow beautifully off the ceiling. They are great accent lights capable of setting what ever mood you like.

This is my 5th purchase of Philips LEDs and I love them. The strip is easy to use, easy to install - and is great for accent lighting. Brightest setting is much brighter than I thought it would be!

I bought these to give some pathway lighting in our family room / theater room. They are installed along the front bottom of my reclining sofa just below the foot rests. Since they are Hue lightstrips, they integrated nicely - and easily - into my existing ecosystem. With a simple command to my echo device, the overhead lighting dims to nightlight brightness and the strips turn on to a nice blue hue, giving the room a theater feel. At bedtime, another command turns off all lights and turns the strips on to a dim warm white light that illuminates a path through the room making it safer to traverse in the dark.

We bought these to do accent lighting. They are soooooo much more than that. I bought another set to go behind the tv and you can sync the lights to movies for a great movie watching experience.

These lightstrips are fantastic, as are all of the other Philips Hue products. I bought a few of these to use around the house. I've got one installed under my couch for now, but plan on adding some behind my desk and underneath my bed (again). My only warning would be that if you have a cat or other animal that likes to chew on things, make sure the strip isn't loose or dangling. My Cat had punctured the circuit on my first lightstrip, which was replaced by Philips under warranty. It wasn't until the 2nd strip stopped working that I realized my cat was chewing it. Unfortunately, Philips didn't replace the strip for a second time. Still, love them!

Bought this for a gift and was happy to see that it was easy to set up and use. Adds great light and color to any room and the colors are adjustable.

I have any Philips Hue lights...these strips are great. They create the right amount of light and it's all very even. Set up is super easy and they make my place look great.

Lights are very bright, also has many variety of colors to choose from. The only bad thing about the LEDs are the price. Other then that, I would highly recommened them.

the color and the liht is really clear and perfect. The only problem is the adhesive on the back of the strip to stick to the surface. easy fix with some other tapr or velcro strip.

I had been looking at these lights for a long time. Sure glad I made the decision to purchase them. What a great addition to my room. The light is amazing and works really well with my gaming. A great purchase for anyone who wants the light to shine!!

I use these on the back of my TVs. they are easy to install and work great with Alexa. Really adds that extra pop of color to your entertainment setup.
