I'm using these for under cabinet lighting. They are very bright and very easy to use!

I am pretty new to the concept of home automation. With the philips Hue products particularly the lightstip smart light, I had more options with background lighting.. It doesn't allow you to shape it like rounded corners only 90 degree angles. However it is easily installed. I would plan ahead of how much you need in terms of length. Otherwise the set up was easy and it works with 3rd party softwares (i.e. alexa, siri etc),

Read up on the Philips Hue lightstrip as an option for dim lighting when getting up in the middle of the light. Purchased it with the Philips bridge and motion. Attached the lightstrip behind the headboard, at times the lightstrip wouldn't stick so applied a little glue and no problem. Setup the lightstrip with the bridge was easy as well as the motion sensor. Now whenever we wake up in the middle of the night the soft light behind the headboard gives us enough light to see where we're going while allowing the other person to sleep without a bright light shining throughout the bedroom. Would have put 5 stars if weren't for it not sticking at times.

This LED strip is amazing, it was very easy to install no problems and looks great

The hue stop lights are great and easy to use. Only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is the adhesive backing could be a little better. But not a deal breaker!

The Philips Hue light strip is great for accent lighting in any room. I bought mine too go behind my TV to reduce eye strain. So far, I've been pleased with it, but I have two items for others to consider if you're in the market for multipurpose or accent lighting. First, the cost is high for this product. I bought it on sale for 71.99 and it still stung when compared to some alternatives on the market. Second, it has 3M adhesive backing the length of the strip, which I didn't plan for. But, all said, it lives up to the Philips quality I've grown to expect. You get what you pay for...

This works great for under cabinet lights. Only issue is towards the power end it gets a little warm and the tape starts to come loose. Just need to reinforce it, otherwise this is great.

This is an awesome add on. No wiring required (except starter kit). Just plug and sync. Colors are awesome!

My wife loves the effect it brings to our place. Super easy to set up and colors are vibrant.

Love the lights, they work a day look great. I love setting them up as a TV backlight. Side note, you'll need some other 3M hooks to mount directly to the TV, provided tape doesn't hold.

I had installed the first generation of this product in my daughter's room and I was more than surprised to see how much brighter this second generation is. I replaced an earlier light strip by a different manufacturer that was having some issues, and I was very pleased to have to run only one strip not two. I was a bit skeptical about the backing adhesive, but it seems to be holding fine. The only real issue is extension jumpers - had to make my own.

I owned a lot of Philips hue bulbs. I love this bulbs as I am able to to change the color of my light with just my cellphone. I also like Philips hue bulbs as I can use them with Google assist. Philips hue has meet my expectations in quality and Price. They are very easy to install as always. I will continue to buy philips hue products as I know they will last forever.

We love this lightstrip. It is easy to use and we actually mounted it under a step to light the path so people don't trip. It works with an app that you can download so it changes color and brightness.

Bought this during BlackFriday got a great deal, It was too good to pass up. I have this installed on the back of my 65inch Samsung looks awesome!! Highly color customizable love it!!

Love that you can change the colors. We put it around the top of the bookcase headboard in our room and are using an Amazon Dot to control the on/off. We tried the wake-up feature using the Hue App and did not like that because it didn't remember the color that we set the night before, but others who like to wake up with the sun may enjoy that feature. It was fun to try out the feature! Still doesn't change the 5-star rating...we love the strip light!

This is an amazing product, it works great, is easy to set up and the colors look amazing. My only feedback would be to put more instructions around cutting and connecting the light strip as there wasn’t a lot of information which in turn caused me not to mess with trying to cut it. Other than that, I definitely like the product and will plan on buying additional lights for other areas of my home

I love this product and the entire line is addictive. Unlike other LED strips, Philips Hue works with many software programs allow you to buy lighting. Effects for special occasions

This is definitely a first generation product. They should include extenders that don't have lights so you can run around areas you don't want lit, without having to start a new strand. The 3M sticky is more like their sticky notes and less like it actually means to stay stuck to anything. And we were running on the baseboards. Gravity wasn't even at play. Pro-- They're fun. Ask yourself if the novelty is worth the money. If not, wait on the next gen. They will probably get "smarter".

We have purchased many different types of Hue light bulbs and are very happy with their performance. It is nice to be able to manipulate your lights using and app or Alexia while you are home or away. We like it so much we purchased starter kits for many family members this past Christmas. This strip looks great under the cabinets in the kitchen and it does change colors (if you desire). It makes a nice glow under the cabinets.

Very easy to set up and control. The Hue app makes it simple and the additional strips easily plug in. 4/5 because of price it's a little bit high for what you're getting.
