As I have an older house the living room has no lights.. all we had for lights was a corner lamp. This light strip was perfect for adding light. We placed it on the mantle and it casts a nice light up the wall and onto the ceiling. I suggest to keep the light away from objects as you will begin to see the individual LED light components, i.e. warm white is made up of three different LEDs to make that color. Downside is that newer lights strips don't have a removable control box; there are ways around this.

These lights really make a room. Easy to install and setup. Bright and fun accents. Used under a loft bed to brighten study space and accent a room.

Placed hues light strip under kitchen cabinets. Work great and light up well. Tape seems to be sticking well, but cleaned underneath of cabinets prior to attaching. Can operate with phone app, Siri, wireless remote and Alexa. Through the phone app have set to come on at night as a night light and turn off in morning.

Again, I cannot say enough about the quality of bulbs that Phillips Hue makes. We were early adopters of the Ecosystem - and will never look back. We placed this strip on the very top back edge of our 75 inch Samsung TV, along with two Hue bulbs (all to use in conjunction with the HDMI Sync Box - so cool!). Pricey, but worth it.

Adhesive is a little weak on the back of the light strips. Overpriced, but definitely is a cool product.

Absolutley love Philips Hue products. We purchased this to place behind the tv and it does not disapoint with setting the mood. Only con is not having the ability to add connectors so the strip is able to bend in a 90 degree angle.

The tape for the back is very sticky. It holds well. Bad experiences in the past but this product is outstanding. It syncs with the bridge seamlessly.

Who isn't a fan of RGB lights, the hue light strips, you cannot go wrong with it. I put it behind my TV and I just tell alexa to change it to any color I want and boom, it's that color. The only gripe I have is the adhesive doesn't seem to be the best, since if you have the light strip on a long time, it does heat up and it can make the adhesive come off.

I just need to say this is awesome! I have a few other hue products and didn't think I'd want the light strip, but I decided to give it a try and I love it. It was so easy to setup, adds so much to the room and the flexibility is great. I actually think I am going to order a second one and place it in another room. The color range is fantastic and this gets two thumbs up from me!

Easy set up , easy pairing , great app , great colors

I bought two to decorate for the Holidays. The HW was awesome but its iOS app can be better as the UX is sub-par. I figure them out after a while and it's OK. Maybe it's better to integrate the setup and control into iOS Homekit?

Love the phillips hue strips. Super bright and easy to setup. Have it installed in my closet as well as my kitchen under cabinet. Totally worth it.

We love using this on the back of our TV! It is fun to play with the different color options, and helps with eye strain when watching TV in the dark!

Love having access to lights with my smart phone. I set timers for my lights to come on when not at home! Works great!

Easy to set up and very bright multicolored strip. A little hard to make 90 turns.

I feel like the hue lightstrips are overpriced. This black Friday deal made them more affordable. I would love to see this product have individual led controls for better themes.

The lights add a nice touch if you already have a Hue ecosystem in your home. I added these under some kitchen cabinets but the bending at a 45 degree angle makes them bulge up quite a bit and looks a little unsightly. If you're good with a solder, you can cut these and use network cable to extend them if you have a break you need to bypass without having to scrap the excess lights you snipped off. These lights also have not responded to my Google Home voice commands as of yet, so that is a bit disappointing since the other A19 hue bulbs I have in my apt were practically plug and play once I've added them a room group in the Hue app.
