Super quick install on this light kit. I was able to sync it up with the Hue app really easily and also got it synced up to Home to work with Siri. I would suggest setting up your rooms in Home first if you haven't done so already and then sync it with Hue otherwise it will add extra rooms for you and you'll have to reassign the lights.

While these are expensive, they are GREAT for lighting up a whole room. I use these behind my desk and they look awesome and are diffused pretty well. I wish they were more customizable (you can only set one color at a time through the app) but they are simple to use.

The Hue Light Strip are a great addition to your smart home. The Phillips Hue App works great and it's Alexa enabled. The strips are pretty bright and you can buy "extensions" on Amazon. Just don't cut the strips unless you're an electrician because you'd need to soder the cut off piece back to the main strip if you wanted to use it again. I recommend!

The light looks great. I wish though that you could buy shorter pieces too instead of just 1 long one.

Its a great product .. i have lit up my home with all HUE .. and this is a great addition specially for the Bar and the under the sofa etc.

Bought this for my electric fire place. Looks very cool. A little pricey. Also too short. Had to buy the extension.

I bought a couple of strips to use to light a hallway and bedroom wall to help my visually impaired wife navigate around the house. Works great! Started playing with the variable color function and ended up getting more to provide a really cool ambience in the house. Also used them as under cabinet lights in my kitchen... awesome! These are great fun.

This is my fifth lightstrip from Hue. Hue provides excellent products with a decent app and ongoing software updates and support. I have the lightstrips behind my televisions and above kitchen cabinets for uplighting. The color range is acceptable and brightness is greatly improved with a second lighstrip or addition of an extension.

I used these to light up a built-in bookshelf that I repurposed to display sixth scale collectibles. It's perfect. Bright, and can display in virtually any color. And is dimmable. Needs a Philips Hue hub, though, which isn't so bad. Also integrates with Alexa, which is fun.

Excellent accent to my kitchen cabinets. I installed underneath the cabinets so that the light will shine down under the counter. Other than having to drill a few holes through the cabinets, it was fairly easy to hook up. The color arrays are amazing. Change the mood of your room by voice with the Alexa app.

Supet easy. Super bright. Love it. Works awesome with my Spot.

Bought a bunch of these for our under cabinet lights and they work great. It's so nice to have them on a schedule to automatically come on and go off at a certain time and I like being able to choose any color I want. Easy to install and even easier to setup. Looking to add these to our built in cabinets that surround our fireplace.

Phillips Hue light strips are pretty good. Their color is excellent not like those cheap dime a dozen Chinese knock-offs. They work extremely well with Hue app with Google Home. They also play really nice with the Razer Chroma ecosystem. The plastic sheath act like a diffuser, for a nice bright glowing effect. Downsides are the premium you will over other LED light strips. And the adhesive backing is not that great.

PUrchased this to install in my kitchen as under cabinet lighting. However the sticky tape that is on this strip of lights does not stick very well to wood surfaces or particle board surface. Used instead in the hallway for entry way lighting. Looks very good and easy to control. Does require you to have the Phillips Hub already as well.

I placed mine on my desk as a accent light. It sticks well to glass and wood and has not fallen off. The only issue is the Lifx Z is brighter and the individual lights can change different colors, unlike the Hue.

Light strips look good, and are easy to setup and adjust via ALEXA. Only downside is the strip could be longer.

best living room lightt. great to combine with hue blooms.
