Love the ability to extend, hate the price

But that's not unique to this item, but the HUE product line in general.

Great but really high price.

Could be longer, but....

Just have to plan the space ahead of time to make best use of the lengths and distance limitations. The color is true, and works amazingly well through a smartphone. I use the iOS app and it's very easy. Being able to add scenes and tie in to Apple's HomeKit is a solid bonus. If you are looking for easy setup that just works, the Philips Hue is a smart choice.
