A must have

The extension is a must have for longer lighting projects. Highly recommend Hue lighting!

Great lights for under counters and cabinets

Adjusting different colors for movies is a bonus. Plus with the location feature the lights come on when I walk into the house and off when I leave.

Best Lightstrip

The one caveat is you must have a Hue hub. Anytime you connect them to a smart home ecosystem (Hue, Alexa, etc...) you have to physically press the button on the hub. Not a big deal.

Needed Extension

Needed more light strip length to go around the back of my 77". One main 80" strip and this 40" gave me enough length to illuminate the top and two side of my TV.

great lighting-bad adhesive

However, the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the light strips is not good and doesn’t keep the light strips mounted in place. Very disappointed with the adhesive backing.

Great addition to your light strip

I don't recommend cutting it your light strips even though they have cut marks. These are expensive and if you want to reattach the cut off portion you'll need a soder gun to reattach.

Great source for light replacement
