had to add the extension to reach across the lanai

Great extension when you need a little more light.

While I still do like these lights I have a few issues with them. I have these behind my monitors and it offers a nice look/feel to the room. The light is nice to work and game with. The downside is that on a flat surface like that, it is hard to "curve" them to make a shape like an S. Also if you ever take them off the wall, the stickiness is gone and you have to use something else to stick them up with.

Lights are an extension to the main lighstrip plus that you will need for this to work. Adds an additional 3.3 feet of length and connects and works flawlessly. No issues at all. Becoming addicted to hue lights.

I added a lightstrip around the back of a sofa that sits about a foot off a wall. Adds a nice glow in an otherwise dim area. Great when watching TV. I give it 4 rather than 5 stars because it is more expensive than it should be.

Perfect for adding to existing hue light strip where you don't need 6 feet - I wish there was a clasp to hold the connection in place, I have then under my couch and they sometimes become disconnected with couch movement - if it were in a stationary position you should be good to go.

I had the gen 1 lightstrip and the gen 2 blows the old one out of the water. It is much brighter and has better colors. The add on extension kit was the best thing, easy to add more length to the lights.

I really love these lights. I have a light strip over my cabinets and needed this extender to cover the length of the wall. Works seemlessly. Once it's in place you don't have to worry about it anymore.

bought this to extend the one behind me tv to go all around. It works great and it comes with everything that you need. I just hate that it cost so much

The process of extending the main light strip couldn't be easier. It is just plug and play no additional setup is required. Colors also do not differ through the connection.

Bought the extension for my hue lights and it works fantastic, it really attach easily to my tv and provides a super bright colors, spice up our living room

The extension easily plugs right into the Hue LightStrip. I had no issues adding it and sticking it to the wall. A rough wall might have adhesion issues. They are a bit pricy for the added length but we love them. I would recommend the Hue LightStrip.

Purchased this as a creative way to light up the back of our new SI Zero Edge Black diamond projector screen. A factory-preinstalled SI model with the lights would have cost over $1K. Only concern is that I have to look for a way to hide the AC power cable so it doesn't mess up the front view of the media room.

Expensive even on sale but they sure look great and are fun to manipulate.
