Picked this up to use with the Hue labs. Worked great for halloween and making the porch light flash when people came to the door. Now i have it set using the light sensor to turn on/off the porch light for normal use.

Works as advertised, easy to setup. lots of controls to adjust to fit your area for sensitivity and light volume.

Easy to set up and configure, the options are reasonably flexible but not too complex. The size makes it easy to hide and not obtrusive wish the mounting was a bit more rigid.

There is not a lot that can written about a simple item. The Hue Bridge recognized it right a way. Because it has a magnetic feature I have it attached to the side of my furnace located at the basement entry creating a "hands free" environment. Very helpful when carrying a laundry basket or other items. I can spend hours down there and the Hue Motion Sensor consistently detects my movement within a 20' x 30' area. The timer feature works flawlessly as well. I will be purchasing another unit for the garage in the spring.

Works well with my Alexa routines. Small and easy to set up. It’s a motion sensor.

I bought these sensors so when I walk up and down my stairs at night it will automatically turn on my lights and then turn them off after a certain amount of time without me having to do anything. it works great. you can even do things like if you walk downstairs for a late night snack it can turn on the kitchen light controlled through the phillips HUB. the only thing I dont like about it is if any of those lights have been turned on before someone triggers the sensor it will turn off the light eventually based on the timer. i just wish the lights could tell if they're already on and not trigger that timer. Only if the lights werent on to begin with. Other than that they're perfect.

I purchased two and use them. Extremely pleased as it used as a motion sensor (aka alarm via HomeKit), as well as the lighting sensitivity settings, ability to detect the amount of light in room to determine if it should turn the lights on or leave off (Hue app). One controls four lights in living room via Hue app and a the other controls a Caseta switch, going to two lights, via apple HomeKit. I’m pleased with the capabilities and response on both.

These work great with the Hue bridge and also easily connect to Smartthings. It's great that I can simply add this to my Smartthings hub and use it with my other devices in my smarthome. I paired it with my hue bridge first tho, to let it update the firmware, then I reset it and add it to Smartthings. Works great and is a good deal.

This is one of the best motion detectors I have ever seen. It has a very high sensitivity and hooks up to the system very easily

This little unit is great. Its has a great range. works flawlessly with my hue lights. Easy to set up.

Pretty easy to install. Great for times you need light and have no free hands. Detects motion and turns on lights you preset.

This was a sale, solely because the wife won't turn off the basement light, no matter how much I talk about it. Now, *I* get the talking to, when it shuts off 7 minutes after she gets in there. Ha. Point made!

The Philips Hue Motion sensor works very well, and is easy to setup. I use it to detect hall way motion, and it turns on the lights above the stairs and in the rooms downstairs for early mornings when going to work. The only negative is that if you set a auto off time after motion is detected, the lights will still turn off after the set time, even if you turn the lights on manually and expect them to stay on.

This Philip's Hue motion detector is awesome. Bought two put them on ceilings of rooms that I don't spend a lot of time in and they work great. They will even turn the light on for the cat when he enters the room by himself. Saves me money on the electric bill cause the the lights go off by themselves. No lights accidentally left on.

I purchased this Hue motion sensor to use in my closet. I know that probably sounds a little ridiculous but it's sooooooo nice having the light turn on as I open the closet door and turn off a minute after I shut the door. Don't knock it till you try it! FYI: This will trigger any Hue compatible bulb BUT I had issues with it playing nice with a Cree Zigbee light I bought on the cheap and paired with my Hue. The motion sensor works great with official bulbs though.

This sensor is wonderful. It is very precise and detects the smallest amount of motion. It works great with the whole kit.

Recently this motion sensor is now accessible within the Apple Home (HomeKit) app. You can now use this for controlling Hue lights and other HomeKit accessories! A welcome update indeed. Great product.

I love this thing! I have it set up for my bathroom and it has such a wide range and works every time!

I replaced my bathroom lights with Hue bulbs and did the same for my walk-in closet. I purchased two motion sensors for each room. Now I just walk in the bathroom or closet and the lights turn on. Brightness can be set depending on time of day via the Hue app, so when I go in the bathroom in the early morning, I'm not blinded by 100% brightness, but I've set it to 15% brightness. The only issue with the sensor is it only works in the Hue app and not Apple's HomeKit app.

It works really well. It really sensitive to movement and is easy to adjust as well as turn on/off when not needed.
