I use these in my bathrooms to control the lights when someone enters and exits.. Has really cool features. During the morning, they are set to come on bright for 15 minutes upon entering. During the day, they are set to shine bright for 5 minutes. At night, they are set to come on dimmed for 2 minutes.. All set within the App. Very satisfied with the features and proven abilities!

Surprisingly useful in the entryway. Easy setup, adjustable sensitivity.

I puchased the hue white ambience bulbs, motion sensor and remote and use them with iPhone and iPad iOS. Setup was easy and they work great. I already had a starter kit so I didn't need a new hub. The motion sense seemed like a good idea and it nice that they come on when you walk into a room. And initially I liked it when they shut off after 15 minutes. But then they would go off when I was reading or sitting still. Now I have then set to go on automatically and stay on. I turn them off with the remote when I leave the room.

This is a great addition to the Phillips hue lights. Good for closets and hallways and bathrooms at night or any other rooms where you don’t need to leave the light on constantly. It will also shut off automatically after a set time has gone by without motion so you don’t have to worry about stumbling in the dark on your way back to your bed.

Installation was simple...the hardest part was finding the best location (my advice: don't overthink it...the range/sensitivity is pretty good). As with other Hue products, the setup is smooth...so once you know how you want it to function, you may never think about this device again!

Works beautifully. Was easy to set up in my existing Hue Bridge setup. It can be set up to turn lights on when detecting motion and then turn them off a set amount of time after no longer detecting motion. The reaction time is very fast. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love my Hue Motion Sensor. I have it in my craft room where I also store kitchen extras. With no light switch on the wall to the room I have to reach for the lamp in the dark. The motion sensor has made it enjoyable to enter the room for quickly grabbing things.

We bought one of these for our pantry and loved it so much we got 2 more the next day. If you areas of your home you want your hue lights to turn on automatically it work great. It was very easy to set up with the app and easy to mount. We mainly used the magnetic holder but they provide everything you'd need to mount it to the wall.

A new addition to my Philips Hue setup. One corner in my kitchen was dark, and it was a hassle to turn on the switch every time. So I added the motion sensor. Through the advanced settings it is adjustable for sensitivity and includes a light sensor (so it doesn't waste electricity on sunny days). A little tweaking with those settings and it works fine every time!

Got got because my girlfriend always leaves the light on in the foyer. This solves that problem and it's really nice to have the lights come on automatically when you come home. It's small, so not noticeable. Have had it almost a year and no problems. You do need the Hue system for this.

This is great add on if you have Hue lights. It monitors Light levels in room as well as motion detection. You can set the system to automatically turn on lights if there is motion and low light. Very easy to install now wires and battery appears to last very long. Been using for a month and batteries still show 100%

The Hue Devices are in my opinion the best home control devices on the market. I use a routine to turn on my porch light at night and then use the motion sensor to turn up the intensity when someone walks by. then after 3 minutes, it returns to normal.

Install takes 3 mins. Default will dim lights after 5mins of no movement detected then turn them off. If its past 11pm it will work as a night light if motion detected. Don't buy smart wall switches. This is better... Way better. I have smart switches, I still have to tell siri/google to turn on or off. This device just does it.

Has worked perfectly for over a year - I haven't had to replace batteries and it's in our master bathroom that gets a lot of traffic. It's expensive but it looks nice and I haven't had any issues. The app isn't the most intuitive for motion sensor timing but the hardware is solid.

I didn’t realize that this device had more than just a motion sensor. The temperature sensor and light sensor squeezed in here add more functionality to the device than I thought, and, in the right circumstances, can be very useful. The device is also smaller than other motion sensors. Only complaint is that it’s hard to mount on a non-magnetic surface, but that’s the only thing holding it back from 5 stars.

I placed the sensor in my guest bathroom, so I don't have to tell everyone where the light switch is located. All they have to do is walk in the bathroom and the light comes on. It is easy to adjust the brightness from the app. I have it set to stay on for 15 minutes and then it will turn the lights off. Love it!

I have several of these, they work perfectly. One in the laundry room, the lights come on as soon as I open the door. I put one under my kitchen cabinet, I wave my hand to turn on the lightstrip that is also under the cabinet. So great.

Sensor is easy to set up and works exactly as expected.

Motion sensor works really well very compact size. Would of been great with some adhesive as well as a second method.
