Hue Motion Sensor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our Hue bulbs and this unit is used to sense when we enter the room so the lights will come on automatically. This is awesome when you have your hands full.

Overall....Really Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part, it works great. It's not really customizable as far as times, unless you use Hue Labs. Every once in a while, it just won't trigger the lights with motion. Works perfect about 95% of the time. Overall, a really good purchase.

I love this sensor.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s simple to use , easy to place. Works great with animals in the house even. Nothing like walking in the door and the lights coming on in the necessary areas.

Awesome for the Kitchen Lights
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally I used this sensor in my room, but quickly found that this was an impractical room as middle of the night bathroom runs became far less sneaky. So I opted to place the sensor in my Kitchen and found this to be a FAR more logical place to use it! My only gripe is on the software side of this product. I wish there were a way to apply a fade time to the lights coming up when the sensor detects motion. Right now, the lights linked to this sensor will snap on, which is a little abrasive when walking into the kitchen for a midnight snack. Overall, great product!

works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. Sets up easy with the app, the sensor itself is battery powered, so it can be placed or mounted anywhere with no wiring needed. Configure the bulb settings and you're set.

Small, but accurate
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great little piece of technology that actually works. It’s nice that the cats don’t set off the sensor. For the price, it’s worth checking out!

Does what I want and I can't complain!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this to control (obviously) my recent Philips Hue purchase. Mostly use this as an automated way to turn on lights when motion is detected as a security feature. It works just fine and as expected. I have absolutely no complaints for this product.

It's good but with flaws (right now)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, so the idea of this is GREAT! It was something I was wanting for some time now, due to the fact my entire home is hue lit. I have 57 total between bulbs, strips, blooms, Iris', & Go bowls. So this was a perfect addiction. I bought 2, because I only wanted it for VERY late night, when we have to get up on the middle of the night & walk thru the house to go to the bathroom, or going to the kitchen. There is where the problem falls. The fact that the ONLY options you get are to set a start time for day, &1 for night sucks. The times just tie to 1 another. & the 2nd opt is, after a certain amount of mins, one the sensor has been triggered, whether it's set to come on or not, you have to either set it to "Turn lights off" or "Do nothing".. Ok, the problem is, if you have a scene on, & is set to "Turn lights off after x mins", even if you have the sensor on "Do nothing" within a particular time frame, it'll cut your lights off, ruining your scene!!! If it's set to "Do nothing" after x mins, then when you actually need the lights, like in our case, the middle of the night, when the lights trigger on via the sensor, they will now stay on & never cut back off, bc it's set to "Do nothing".. So basically, Hue needs to add quite a bit more options to this. I have to manually turn the sensors off every morning before 5:30 am so it doesn't ruin our "Wake up scenes" as well as any other light scene throughout the day, & then manually turn them back on after midnight. That's not the way I should be having to have this work!.. So, foo they work? Yes! Do they need MORE work? Yes!..
