The room that it is in has a pull chain light in the middle of the room. The sensor is great. We just stick our heads in the door- way, the light comes on, we can see. We set it so our "critters" don't set it off. Works great for us so far and saved us having to rewire.

Nice Hue Motion Sensor

It works really well and I like you can change the length of time for the lights to turn off. I have this in a room that we walk into at night, and it's nice not to have to look for the switch. The sensor "senses" us as soon as the door is opened. Very well made and highly recommend if you have the hue lights.

Didn’t know how much I needed this …

It can be a chore to resolve connection issues with most items but this is the one thing that ALWAYS works. I have 4 of these in the bathrooms, closet and laundry room and they work perfectly.
