Easy to use and install

In addition to motion sensing, also senses light levels and ambient temperature. (I don’t believe that the hue app offers direct access to temp, but this is accessible via third-party automation systems, like Apple HomeKit for example)

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I placed the motion sensor in my bathroom to ease the problem of nighttime bathroom runs. I set it up to be dimmed during a certain time so I don't blind myself with light in the middle of the night. Only wish it were a little more sensitive to the "peripherals." I have this sticking the high corner wall of my bathroom and it doesn't sense motion if i'm in the shower. I have to constantly stick my arm in front of it to turn the lights back on.

You can secure the sensor to the wall with a screw or it also has a magnetic back that can be used to secure it as well. My only complaint is that the motion sensor is not recognized in Apply Home Kit yet. It would be a helpful to trigger other devices in the home kit based on the motion sense from Hue.

Another great Hue product

I love being able to see the temperature of my house when I’m away
