Great motion sensor. My only gripe is I wish it worked with Smartthings just like the Hue lights. Also I’m not a fan on how it’s displayed in the Hue app. Seems very hidden. Automations using the sensor works great so no complaints there. I wish it could be used for non Hue lights though.

I had purchased this device to work with the Hue lights as an automatic night light in a hallway. The hallway is accessed from both sides by 4 doorways and opened to the main living area. It has been difficult finding a mounting location that works well when entering the hallway from any direction. Perhaps the ceiling? Works as advertised but could possibly be enhanced by a wider field of surveillance.

The motion section works well. Only wish there was more control over actions in the settings.

We have a sensor at top of stairs to turn the lights on when going down. We have it programmed to turn off the lights automatically after a few minutes. It keeps the lights from being left on in the stair/ hall area. Automation is pretty handy. Try it!

Great motion sensor by philips, horrible support. Not worth PA adding n the protection plan for these little item's.. fine print does not cover lost, stolen, or misplaced. Only manufacturers warranty is better cause they will replace it no matter what. Gotta love philips not the geeks.

We have two of these in the house and they never fail to turn on the lights when we enter the coverage area. The best part is they turn the light on dim in the middle of the night so you are not blinded but turn on full when it is a time people are awake but the location is dark.

I use this to control some lights that are connected to a three way switch, so whenever I come home the lights turn on and off automatically. There is a feature that adjusts the brightness based on surround light, which makes it less harsh during the day. That’s a cool feature. My only wish with this product is that the time until the lights turn off could be more customizable.

The Phillips motion sensor, though more expensive than some competitors, does allow one to create lighting scenes once you download the app. It integrates well with the Alexa ecosystem. Instructions are minimal within the package, so the company could improve on that point.

This Hue Motion Sensor is perfect! It also has a daylight sensor that is adjustable through the Hue app so that the lights only turn on when the room is dim or dark, instead of every time you walk into the room. It can also be setup turn on the selected light(s) to a predefined color.

This sensor works perfect. I like how you can schedule to turn off after the light is not being used. I have added this to my garage to avoid flipping the switch and sometimes shutting down my Hue light ahd therefore I was losing connection to the app. This sensor has been a great add on

I purchased this primarily to set up with the Hue Holiday apps. It served its purpose well!

Good motion detection for rest room light and also using it in my bedroom

We have numerous hue bulbs but in an effort to automate life I purchased a few of these to test how well they work. I don’t know about the length of the battery life and the pairing process was a little slow but everything else worked as expected

So convenient that I no longer have to flick a light switch. Especially when I go to the bathroom late at night. Absolutely love This. The sensor is sensitive too, about 6 ft and it'll trigger it. It's just a level of comfort and convenience That I have this since I made my home smart.

I love the Philips Hue Motion Sensors. They are super responsive. I use several of them with HomeKit, so I can automate other home automation products other than just my Hue lights, like my Lutron Caseta lights.

Good for a small officde and small storage space....

Use on stairway to turn on lights automaticly. Perfert...turns light on before you step on the first stair, top or bottom. Love that it does not turn on light if there is already enough and that it turns it on as a night light brightness when activated after a set time.

I was a little skeptical on this product at first. But having purchased numerous Philips Hue products, I decided to give it a shot and I am very happy that I did. The motion sensing is adjustable for both light sensitivity in the area it is installed and the motion detecting.

Pretty reliable, only misses you once in a while but not very often.

perfect addition to my parent's home. My first time with this product. I placed this in a room where my elderly parents need a quick light source for safety. GREAT addition to what I am building for them.
