Love Hue lights and sensors. I used this one in my closet so that it goes on automatically whenever I walk in. Works great!

Unit works, but Philips software changes color of lights unexpectedly. There is no way to use temp sensor, other that going into Philips software, that defeats the whole purpose.

Ok so we all know Philips Hue stuff is pretty expensive. I like these motion sensors, but for $40 per sensor you’d hope they’d work not just ok, but *really* well. I find multiple instances where they pick up motion too late or too early, and the sensitivity slider doesn’t help. Daylight sensing is also sometimes iffy. Also! Big thing to know. At the moment, Philips does not allow you to turn these sensors on or off anywhere aside from the Hue app itself. This means no “Hey Google, turn off the living room motion sensor” for watching TV or for going to sleep in a motion sensor enabled bedroom.

I bought this to put on my stairs to work with the Phillips hue wifi bulbs for night lights. The motion sensor picks up very well and works the way I intended it to.

I no longer use schedules; instead this sensor turns on the lights when i enter a room. I am getting better use of my Hue system abd saving energy at the same time!

I got this this turn on a light strip under the bed when the Mrs. or I get up in the middle of the night. Works for our application.

You have the ability to set this to come on whenever and however you like. It works great and stays on for ever how long you set it to. It is energy saving as well.

I got this because I have a 2 year old and a dark hallway. Soon as she hits the doorway the hall is fully lite a she's off to the races room to room now

We several rooms in the basement where NOW when I walk in the light go on and 5 minutes after we leave, the light go off. Very cool addition to a smart home.

Love the fact that this has light sensing detection. Have 4 of these in my house and they work great 99.9% of the time. Highly recommend!!

I got this to automatically turn on the light last in the garage. Especially if my hands are full carrying things !!

I’m sure I’m saving a few bucks on my electric bill by having this. I don’t have to worry about the kids forgetting to turn off the lights.

This sensor is versatile and can be mounted anywhere - it is responsive and can be set with a variety of controls in the software - a must-have with Hue lights.

Its very easy to setup and doesn't require much maintenance but sometimes it doesn't detect the motion or takes a little longer. Being HomeKit compatible and working with my hue lights is the reason I keep buying them.

Love having a sensor. Great with kids getting up in the middle of the night.

I tried a couple others before turning to the Philips hue sensor. It's super responsive and philips has multiple lab skills that you can use with it.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great addition to the Philips family, however, the app limits the possibilities of this motion sensor. Wish I can control more options within the app. Hopefully an update will rectify this. Great addition overall.

Performs better than expected. Allows customizable day and night modes. Very responsive to movement. Only wish it was easier to select modes from 3rd party apps.

I wasn't sure about this, until I used it as a night light. I get out of bed and the light comes on so I don't stub my toe.

I have it right inside my bed room, auto on makes it nice to not have to turn switches on if you have your hands full. the second one I haven't placed yet.
