Device functions, but there are drawbacks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While the device functions well enough, the method Philips uses to notify you that there is motion is inadequate. When there is motion, a given light, that you tell it, will turn on -- for example a den light. The problem is that if you already have that light on, then you will not know the motion detector sensor was activated. If you have set the notification software up so that the light will turn off after a few minutes or so after motion was detected, the light, that you presumably had on for a reason, will turn off. Where this is a real problem is if you have that light set-up through Hue on a timer for security when you are not at home. The motion detector timer will turn off your light on the Hue timer. This device does not hook-up to Google Home as far as I can tell. It would be nice if it did and would give an audible alert through Home and a notice on a phone app
