You need to have the Phillips Smart hub with this.

It's stated in the instructions inside the box, but not on the box itself.

Okay product in the Hue line
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was hoping to use this product to turn the front porch light on....The instructions indicate indoor use only....so I thought I would put it in a window facing the front porch...wrong, it can not detect motion through glass. Have it in my living room and rarely use it. My first disappointment with the Hue line of products.

Not a great one

I was specifically looking for a motion sensor which works based on time intervals. I dont want to enable to turn on lights at the day time, but wanted it at certain time. Unfortunately I wasnt able to make it work

Almost there

I bought this mainly because of the temperature sensor, as I try to minimize my use of climate control. I didn't have a need for the motion sensor, so I tried to place it where it wouldn't pick up anything, but it still fired every five minutes.
