I purchased this at Best Buy because the product description said it worked with Apple HomeKit. It does not, The manufacturer's website states that it doesn't work with HomeKit. That is unfortunate because I purchased two of them that do not meet my needs.

I guess I should have done some more research before the purchase. I expected to use this as a light sensor to turn my lights on automatically. That didn't work out so well. Tried the "labs" from Hue, and not much better. Oh well.

It’s a great product in theory but it never actually worked for me. I found the automated lighting option in the hue app far more convenient.

Great Idea by Phillips again but this device needs more work as far as the integration with the Phillips hue system itself. It just doesn't seem like it's living up to its potential

Item stopped working in less than 3 months. It constantly blinks red when motion is detected. I’ve reset the unit itself and even changed the batteries. Nothing has worked. Now it’s just unresponsive. This is definitely something that needs to go back to the drawing board. Great product when it works but terrible execution and lifespan

Works great but it should be able to detect When there is sufficient sunlight

Range is horrible! My outdoor sensor is quite a bit farther from my hub. This one continues to go through batteries because it loses connection with the huge unit. When I tried to contact Phillip Hue support. The treated me like a complete moron. They wanted me to reconnect it like 6 times. When that still didn’t work. They still couldn’t admit that thier device was faulty

There is very little configuration allowed in these. It would be nice to adjust what they do at different times on different days of the week. I have figure out where the line of site is on these. I can be sitting directly in front of it and int still detects no movement and turns off the lights on me.

Still trying to figure out how it works and what it even does. Haha

Great idea to add more functionality to the Hue family, however it just lacks to it's potential

You will still need the Philip's Hue bridge which is another $50. Suggest finding another option compatible with Echo Plus which has a bridge built in.

Did not work for me. Returned it. Not saying it might not work for you it just did not work for me.

Wanted night light scene to turn on when I get up at night, but it ends up being a nuisance during the day.

Only works with hue light. I can’t use it as a smart gadget activation device. Pretty sure I will return it.

Not wroth the investment to buy the philips hue kit.

This is the missing piece that was needed. It works great and is very accurate. Very easy to setup and use. The only issue I see is that wish the app gave us more options to use the ambient sensor to make the lights whiter during day and yellow during evening/night as at present only let one select 2 presets for time of day. I thought it would use the ambient sensor to adjust light color accordingly that would be nice. Also wish was a HomeKit sensor so could be used to trigger a switch at the same time if the switch is off. Overall really great and simple and works as intended.

Works exactly as you'd expect! Fully customizable and works great. Will be buying more.
