Works perfectly.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as advertised, still wish they made it for cheaper, but it is a great product to get even more immersion to games and movies.

CHANGES EVERYTHING!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.“TOTALLY IMMERSIVE” is the only way I can explain what it is like when you add the sync box go your TV. It expands the screen well beyond the bezel and creates a real mood no matter the subject on the screen. From kids movies, to adult horror movies, youll feel like youre at an IMAX!

Too Inconsistent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay but too inconsistent. When it works, it’s amazing. When it doesn’t, you end up troubleshooting everything from connections to device settings. This feels more like a BETA test instead of a finished product. I’m hoping for a software update at some point. This device is way too expense to perform this way. I’ve tried technical support but have gotten nowhere. This is a great concept but simply put, it’s a “concept”. I gave it two stars, because it’s nice, when it works.

Not worth the price!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’ve had Hue lights for a while, you probably have already used hue sync on your computer to make your lights sync up to the screen. Same thing here, but finally with the TV. Was so excited for this, but when I saw how much it was I was kinda shocked. I still forked over the money and set it up. While it is cool having the sync, I never used it enough to actually justify the outrageous price. Hue lights are excellent and work great, but they keep gouging loyal fans more and more and it’s frustrating giving so much money to maintain the Hue ecosystem. Returned the Sync box because it’s just not worth what they are charging for it.

Amazing!!! But one downside
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is a game changer for your home movie watching experience. Only down side is that it does not support 120hz

Fun addition to media setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sync Box is a fun addition to my media setup. Movies/Shows feel more immersive when lights are synced to content. Sometimes HDMI pass through fails and it is necessary to disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cables.

Blown away.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to go with 2 Hue Playbars I have setup as bias lighting behind my 65” OLED. Thought it would be a fun gimmick to play with every once in a while. Now I can’t believe I waited this long. Especially with games, the world just spills right out of the TV with these lights and Sync. Every time I jump into Ghost of Tsushima, the dynamic lighting brings that world to life. Death means the whole room flashes red with defeat. Only problem now is my wife wants more play bars for more even lighting!

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use, I use it on my Xbox one X and a Sony Bravio TV 4K looks good. The app is also user friendly I’d you use the Hue light app. You’ll have no problems The only negative is the device does not support Adobe Atmos

Audio/video constantly needs adjusting for +
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mostly glitch free. Only issue is keeping settings from interfering with tv and audio devices. Most notable is the audio and video quality on my tv and soundbar, no matter what, I end up having to toggle the settings through my Samsung TV directly to switch it back to Dolby digital and streaming primarily through Firestick 4k, switching between apps doesnt integrate automatically. Would be nice not to have to adjust the settings between Hulu, YouTube etc literally several times a day, at times, during streaming one event! Does anything do Dolby +? I know most of the stuff i watch is available in 4k and I'm pretty savy about audio and video quality...makes ALL the difference!

Awesome Effects
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device works great and is easy to set up. I will definitely be adding some Hue Play Bars to back of my TV to add more effect but my current setup is good. Watch Season 3 of Stranger things to really get a great effect

Almost there.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great idea, decent execution. Typically anything in hdr will have brief blackout periods. It doesn’t offer 4K 120 and is quite expensive. When it works though, it is terrific.

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the convenience of switching my devices without touching the TV remote anymore. With some Philips lights, the experience is truly amazing! However, I’ve encountered several bugs occasionally and find it challenging to sync the lights.

Works decent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was impressed with the ease of use. It works okay, people have such bad reviews at times for random reasons. I use it for movies and music and I am satisfied. I wish it worked with my smart tv but oh well.

Works great, quick processing
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't use it nearly as much as I'd like, mainly because I don't have the time to sit for a full movie. It has been fantastic for concerts from home however. When streaming a concert from a "drive in" series from a number of bands, it really adds a whole new level of experience during the summer of no concerts due to Covid-19. Pros: No need to use the application on your computer to process the lighting. Small Matches Cons: Did not have voice control or remote control functionality until recently, so you had to use the app which means taking our your phone. These features are still in beta and need some polishing. Getting it connecting can be troublesome for the technologically challenged.
