The Philips Hue lights look great. Not sure if it was worth the price and the fact that you have to purchase 3 separate items just to get them to work. This being one of them as well as the light strip itself and the Philips bridge. again they look great but the effort of all three pieces as well as the cost of each item are kind of frustrating

a must for your appleTV, computer, sound system (they connect and sync with spotify!) and your play station, everything in one little box is enough for any entertainment area. they are not cheap but you only have to buy it once and set it up once and forget about it and just enjoy it

I combined this with two hue plays behind my TV and it is discreet yet immersive experience to watch something on it. It’s a fairly simple process to setup your entertainment zone. The only thing that I’m not overly excited about is that it now becomes your HDMI splitter because it can take 4 HDMI connections but it only sends one HDMI to the TV

I have since replaced this device three times. When it works it works great and I love it. When it doesn't work it is really annoying and distracting to the eyes. I found out disconnecting my WeMo switches helps with the disconnects from syncbox to bridge and putting network lease to 12 hours really helps and I found out some of my smart things devices can cause interference. But but as I said my works it's great

It's makes any visual entertainment more immersive but there is a lag between what's shown on screen vs lights being displayed.

Hue products are always pricey, but they are awesome when it works. I have from technical difficulties when using HDMI CEC with Samsung tvs. It would randomly lose source connection to the TV. Easy to use app. They also added Google assistance so you don't have to go into the app to change source.

Great to use when watching movies. A lil bit more expensive but worth every penny

Definitely a must if you want to elevate your watching experience whether it’s regular cable shows or movies. We have bought the Philips tv strip and two plays and it’s amazing! We mainly use it for Netflix and YouTube Tv. The only reason I’m leaving one star out is because it requires an external streaming device. The color sync does not work with just smart TV apps (Netflix, HBO Max, YoutubeTv, etc.). Luckily we already had an extra chromecast to use.

Impressive box. However in my case, passing Dolby vision signal can be unstable at times. Easy to setup.

This is a pretty awesome addition to my Hue collection. It’s a little buggy at times, but they’re usually good at pushing updates that address bugs. I only wish it would truly be Dolby Atmos/Vision compatible. My tv doesn’t recognize that it is. Also I would like to be able to fully control it with a Philips brand remote instead of programming a universal remote. It’s rather expensive but if you’re up for a new level of entertainment lighting, I’d highly recommend this.

They could be way cheaper for what it does and for its limitations. However, this is the only way to do this with ease.

I think this is the best tv sync light system overall. However its expensive but it does provide the value and does justice to its price point.

Love this! Not something I use for every movie but definitely a lot of fun for the experience. Works best in a smaller space. Other users commented that it has a hard time doing the automatic selection of devices, but I’ve only found that to be the case if the devices are already on (and I’m sure a software update can fix that). The intensity is also not customizable beyond the four available options and the presets didn’t have an impact or wasn’t well explained. Other than that, lots of fun.

I really enjoy watching the TV with sync and the strip light. It creates a dynamic that you don't think you need, but when you have it, you're so glad you do.

This hdmi sync box is very pricy at $230 but is needed to create your own nightclub in your living room or extend the visuals of your movies or shows. Movies or shows you need to set the speed to moderate and lower the brightness if you’re using it with music videos or edm music set it to extreme and turn the brightness up.

This is my second Hue Sync box. I freaking love these things! I don't understand people's troubles with them. If you have a Hue bridge, this thing is easy. Just make sure you use HDMI 2.0 or better cables to make sure everything jives.

This box is overpriced for what it does but when paired with hue gradient light strip and some bulbs

I bought this to be able to sync my existing Philips Hue Play Bars (3 of them) and the Hue Go Lamp (2 of them). I have the sync box connected to my A/V receiver then to my TV. It works great, and adds another level to what you are watching. Other than the price, I'm very happy with this purchase. It's not for everyone, but if you have existing Hue Play Lights connected to your TV and want to elevate your TV experience, then I recommend it.

great sync box to control your TV light strip and u can connect to use with Alexa. At least I do and it works great. U can download the free app and use with the TV light strip but strongly recommend to use this for more convenience. Of course, the price is a bit steep
