The only reason I´m not giving 5 star is for the price point but if you have the money, I’ll recommend it.

expensive accessory but if you have the money to pair with the lights it's takes games to another level

Been waiting for so long to have this come out. It’s a little much but that’s the only bad thing I have to say.

The Hue Sync was easy enough to setup and connect through the app. I already had all of my equipment running through my receiver and 1 HDMI cable going to the TV. All I did was insert the Sync in between the receiver and TV and set the “ARC” setting (so I could send my controls through) and I was up and running in no time!

This device is absolutely awesome. Your friends and family will be blown away by this as they probably have never seen anything like this. The device syncs perfectly with movies and had no issues keeping up with the action on my Series X. If you’re considering it, buy it if it’s available.

If you want to synchronize your Hue lights with content on your tv, this is what you need.

A little expensive for my taste but it works great and it was super easy to set up!

This is awesome. The effect is great. I hope they upgrade these in the future to support Dolby Vision

With most movies forgoing theaters for a while I decided to invest in my home setup more. This first if all functions as an extremely useful HDMI splitter for those in need of some more ports. But more so it works as described and it's really cool when paired with numerous lights in sync with your TV

Very easy to set up and work with. I love the effects it gives the TV and the Tv area.

Changing the input is a pain. You have to use your cell phone or have empty buttons in your remote control. Easy to set up... works just like the app they had. Still cannot get the voice control on alexa to work. The default is that its always on.... DOES NOT WORK WITH ANY 3D CONTENT. Not via a streaming service or directly through the dvd. Kinda mad about that.

Sync only with items attached to the sync box. I've to stop using all the native apps to my tv. Thats the only pain. Another pain point is connecting it with a remote. Ideally, this thing should come with a remote. Rest all works really great.

When the product works, it is great. That being said, It is very hit or miss on if it will work or not. I have my apple tv plugged into the box and some applications have issues with displaying.

The product works as advertised and of course looks really cool! I recommend doing a bit research so you know exactly what you are getting before making a purchase. If it's what you're looking for, you'll love it! I'll admit, the price is a hard pill to swallow. Also, I'm hoping they add more specific settings to the app.

I LOVE IT!! My wife & kids thought I was out of my mind at first. But after watching several action movies and the light flashing all over the place that’s the only way they want to watch movies now. AWESOME.. I have 9 lights connected to the sync box and it makes for an AWESOME experience in movie watching.

This was the second one I’ve purchased. It wouldn’t work correctly the first time, b/c I believe the hdmi plug it was in had limited functionality. Only found this out thru troubleshooting, I first thought it was my sound bar causing the problem but it works fine now. Just gets a little hung up sometimes, but just stopping sync and starting it back will fix the problem in my situations.

This thing is a must if you have Philips hue bulbs. If you like to game or watch movies this is also a must to own. Works well for my liking. The setting can be frustrating but once you get a hang of where to place you lights and the intensity/brightness settings for what your doing.

I am pretty familiar with the Hue ecosystem, so this didn’t phase me much in terms of complexity. I’m used to the Hue app and setup process, so it wasn’t hard, just a bit time consuming. NOTE: For best results, use HDMI cables that are specifically rated for the 2.1 spec, especially with Dolby Vision and HDR content. Make sure Enhanced Dolby Vision Compatibility is turned on as well. My ATV 4k Gen3 was exhibiting many of the complaints about syncing randomly stopping and starting, or losing sync randomly, so despite it working perfectly with my AVR and TV, I replaced the HDMI cable with a new one, specifically designed for the 2.1 standard. Poof, all the issues disappeared, my Siri Shortcuts work, and it’s flawless.

Let me just say that if your a technology geek like myself and you enjoy this kind of thing, this sync box is a must have. Very easy to set up and puts on one heck of a light show while watching TV, playing games and even listening to music. I was already a Hugh lights lover, this box is just icing on the cake.

It’s great when it work. At times it works when it wants too. I mainly use for video games and movies, but sometimes annoying when it doesn’t want to Work… when you buy something so expensive like this you don’t expect to have much trouble at all…
