Yes this lil box works pretty ok,but it took me 2 days to actually get it sync to my lights to work properly, worth the time tho

Very happy with this purchase. Got it sent to the store to expedite the process. Love to use it for certain movies or shows. Definitely not something to use everyday

Love it! Picks up the colors very well. FYI!! This will only work from an external source Apple TV Ruko Etc. the signal must pass through the box

This is such a great concept if you have smart lights set up. Easy to connect all your gaming devices to and sync up with the lights. It has really changed my gaming setup.

This thing is so cool. It really sets the mood for movie night. Pair this up with a surround sound system and you have the complete package.

works ok sometimes stops syncing and is not compatible with 2016 version of dolby vision. you have to turn it off from your tv or receiver and it is annoying

Philips did a great job with integrating the light system with the background of the tv content. It syncs in nicely and adds extra depth to home theatre experience

You'll need to switch out the hdmi cable that comes bundled with this as it does not work 100%. The box itself is great now that I switched out the hdmi cable. Switching between inputs is a bit annoying as you can only do it from your phone and the IR doesnt work 100%

I bought this from Best Buy over a year ago, I had the lightstrip and the bulbs in my ceiling along with hue lamps so really wanted to try out the syncing of lights. It’s so awesome it can be difficult to get everything setup the right way. I’ve got a review, light demo of sync and step by step setup video on my YouTube channel just search “Philips hue play hdmi sync box setup “ along with my name “Qasim Zafar” and it’ll pop up. Hope this helps as I love the box and now with updated feature like the tv remote setup and google assistant for voice controls. The box is that much more worth it to purchase :).

Initially had issues with using this for my Apple TV in Dolby vision and Dolby atmos and still have not been able to fix it, but I love this hub as it is very simple to set up and manage devices.

This does what it says, but is very expensive for what it offers. There are apps on the Play store such as Hue stream and Hue Dynamic that can provide some features.

Works great when it works. Lately, having issues with it connecting to the bridge. Support has been great with fixing the issue, but still up and down. When it works, it definitely enhances the movie experience.

This little thing is SUPER COOL!! Get you a couple of hue light strips and other hue lights that change colors and you got a full entertainment setup. You need the Philips hue app and the Philips hue sync app as well to set this little thing up, make sure your Hue Bridge is connected to your wifi network. This Hue sync hub also gives you 4 additional HDMI slots. If you have any issues getting the light sync effect to work, make sure to disable HDR or any kind of 120Hz refresh rate on that specific devices input or else the lights will not respond to what’s on the screen.

Totally an experience that you must try for yourself! It adds to an untouchable moment!

Kept an eye on this for months waiting for it to come back in stock, and ordered it the second it did. It was definitely worth the wait. One thing to note is that you must have a separate streaming device to use this in tandem with a smart tv.

This works and reliably so. However it should have the hub built in instead of requiring a separate purchase. It should come packaged with the gradient light strip too, that's the perfect set up.

It works great. It works with 4k.Except for it doesn't support HDR. For the price it should work with all 4k HDR. I hope this can be one day updated to support everything a tv can . For the price it should. Other than that. Its amazing for gaming and bluray movies.
