Easy set up with Apple TV or LG TV. Obviously needed for the Phillips Hue Play. Amazing light details that enhance anything you’re viewing!

completely unnecessary but totally worth it! syncs hue lights with video or sound from HDMI for an added layer of immersion to your movies, games, concerts or music.

This item must have very good to excellent internet. I had problems early on but figure that it was my internet. Also had problems with hooking its up to AVR.Had to hook it directly into my tv.

Love hate relationship... I have an OLED TV, Atmos sound system and use Apple TV and shield 90% of the time. It tends to blackout repeatedly when you turn it on or switch inputs. Seems to have gotten better playing with the settings but took a while...

Just as advertised, completes my home entertainment center. Brings the action on ny screen to my living room. Must have for any techies out there

I really like lighting effect, it’s improves the overall experience, my only minor complaint is the cost and there’s a slight delay. Also you need the app to utilize it fully, a remote would have been nice.

Works very good but setup is odd. If you have trouble setting it up change the inputs to correct issue. I started out simply angry it wouldnt work with my TV but after switching the inputs it works as intended. Pretty cool unit overall.

If you have the extra cash to spend, this is a pretty neat device. Syncs up real well to what you are watching and adds some nice ambience. I have mine hooked up to my receiver and it works on all the inputs.

A must have if you have the Hue Play Light Bars, Easily sync your lights with your TV, media player, even gaming system for the ultimate experience!

This is a great product, works well with movies and really adds to the home experience. It is annoying that you can't activate outside of the hue sync app, too many apps to use just to turn it on.

This is great (if you are already invested in the Hue ecosystem)! It is super easy to set up and truly adds a new dynamic to watching movies, playing games, etc.

New updates have improved usability. If you have an IR remote you can use it to change inputs otherwise you will need their app or rely on their automatic input change which can be tricky depending on your setup.

To complete the entire set up can really empty your pockets. But overall solid add to home theater

Nothing works as easily as this product to do lights synced with video. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Very easy interface and setup and makes watching movies an entirely awesome visual experience to connect lighting to sync with displays

I like the way it matches the colors of what correlates on the screen to match the lighting environment. I just don't think the price warrants the purchase of it unless you absolutely have to have it.

Took me a while to figure out how to get it set up with my smart tv but once I got it it’s totally worth it! I have 8 lights including the light bar and it’s a great set up for movies and music.

Really cool item! Works great with Hue lights and stays in sync with a ton on the screen.

The sync box works well with the hue play bar lights, and strips. On the occasion the lights will stop syncing but this could probably be fixed in an update.

Absolutley love the product. Took many months to get my hands on the lights but it works perfect and syncing is smooth! Would recommend!
