Great product when it works…
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product when it works, it had great colors and flawless transitions, BUT it made my sound system cut out and some times my tv cut out. Trust me I tried every thing changing audio settings different hdmi inputs, hdmi cables with less gbs and still nothing worked it’s unfortunate considering how much I liked the product and what is did if any one is interested I was using a nano 75 tv with a ps5

cool when it works, still very buggy
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted this product to work as advertised due to the thousands of dollars I have spent on ( Signify ) Philips Hue products. Every review I read on this product cautioned the buggy software. I agree, it was more difficult than necessary to set up. To actually get it working I had to use a work around, the second HDMI Video output on my Marantz SR8012. It will only work for movies and games, not music this way. Definitely not straightforward. After a *couple of weeks* I got it working and it was amazing. I have 2 Hue light strips, 2 Hue Go lights, 4 of the lightbars and a few Hue bulbs in floor lamps. All this hooked up to a LG OLED TV, Marantz and KEF 9.1.4 system with Dolby Atmos and Vison. The lightshow was so cool. I was very impressed! Then I flipped on Gears of War on the Xbox and it was GLORIOUS!!! For almost a month I was supper impressed by this thing. Now the system is completely un-usable. It has been garbage for the last 5 weeks. After the last Philips ( Signify ) software or firmware update, it forces your video down to 1080p. I lose 4k but some keep Dolby Vision at 1080p @60 FPS. I did everything I could thing of to troubleshoot before turning to google. I quickly found out there was a bug in the last update that forces the video quality down from 4k to 1080p. So for over a month this thing has been a a very expensive paperweight because Philips / Signify cannot release stable software. To summarize, when this thing works it is MAGNIFICENT! but it will take a lot of patience and many days of googling, fiddling and work-arounds to make it work. Then you have to watch out because Signify and Philips release software that breaks the units functionality. I have only been able to use my a few times in the 5 months I have owned this. Buggy software has made the device unusable. I hope Philips will fix this soon, it has already been over 2 months since they sent out the bad update.

||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing changed the way I use my TV. Now is more amazing to play video games, watch movies or series. Every one can enjoy this. I miss the possibility of having HDMI 2.1 but I think it's not neccessary at the moment. I have connected to it my Xbox, soundbar and Is no the same without it

Great when it works
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Second time I try out this product. First time when it didn’t support HDR10 and Dolby Atmos, it was a messed when I hooked it up to my AVR, most of the time it didn’t work, and when it worked the light didn’t sync correctly. Second time when they updated the firmware, which included both HDR10 and DV, it definitely work better but it is still very unstable, sometimes the light wouldn’t turn on and other times it wouldn’t turn off. It is definitely better since the firmware update but it is still too much trouble to get it to work consistently. Sorry but this unit is going back again

Meh. Spotty performance, but it gets the job done.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm using this with two hue color bulbs so the color performance isn't great, but that's to be expected with only two bulbs. What's not the fault of the bulbs is the sporadic color shifts despite setting it to the smoothest setting. The Sync Box also loses sync with the media at least a few times per week. This requires you to stop the movie and fiddle with the box... that's a deal killer. One bright spot is the forthcoming Hue Gradient Strip TV lights that (should) offer much more of a color spectrum across the width of the TV vs just on the left and right side.
