This is a really nice addition to the Hue products. It's a little tricky switching HDMI's but it works pretty well.

It's a bit pricey, but worth it. The sync function for games and movies is brilliant

This has added an entirely new dimension to my theater. Highly recommend even at what I think is a high price point. One drawback is the signal must pass through HDMI so built-in apps on the TV won't work. I had to get a Roku just to source the signal.

I can’t connect it to my Nakamichi 9.2.4 HDMI sound bar. It had issues with the 5ghz. While watching movies in the middle of the film the signals goes away. Making weird visual distortion, to lost of signal. I have an 86 inch LG 2019 4K but needed to shut down 5g on my WIFI antenna and separate the hdmi connection from the sound bar and the hue sync and no problems so far.

Awesome affect, very cool. Struggles with xbox 4k sonetimes when switching sources.

This box is the reason I started getting hue lights 3 years ago. I just had to wait for ever for it. Now I Finally I don't need a computer hooked up to my TV to sync lights. Wish it supported alexa or infrared remote(which are both coming soon). Sometimes the app is glitchy but that seems to be the same with all Philips apps.

Had issues getting this thing to work correctly. To expensive with everything you need to buy and it doesn’t support HDMI 2.1. Not worth it at this time. I’ll Wait for one with HDMI 2.1 support and better functionality/ease of use to justify the cost of this box, the bridge, and the lights.

when this works there is nothing better. Having had this unit for over 2 years I love using with anything I watch and i really adds to a party. The issue is connectivity. Will not stay connected. I have been through 4 of these units, Geek Squad has been to my home 3 times trying to fix, I have stumped Hue customer service as we get to connect and then a day later disconnect and cannot reconnect. Save your money till Phillips corrects the issue

Works great as an hdmi switch and also syncs your Hue lights to the colors on the tv. You need to use the specific sync app alongside the Hue app which can be a little clunky but with some patience you’ll have your lights up and running in no time.

Follow the instructions and if you have a issue or can’t figure something out seek out the solution. This product has a bit of a learning curve. But I didn’t just give up and now everything is smooth and runs perfectly. We are rewatching all our old movies again like new!

I still do not have this product setup. I attempted to set it up the first day I came home with it and just couldn't get the thing to work. So I decided to wait until I got my gradient light strip and when that came in it was broken. Now it is on backorder so I'm going to attempt again to do it with my light bars in my light strips and we'll see how it goes

Great idea and when it works I love it. But sometimes has problems connecting.

The thing goes out pretty regularly, where my screen (and tge lights) will go black because the box stops transmitting. Really sucks when youre in the middle of a game.

Lots of reviews give it a hard time, but honestly it works pretty well. Sometimes it takes a minute to connect, but overall it works great and offers a very cool entertainment experience. The music feature is fun too. I hope they keep working on it. I have it hooked through a Roku.

No complaints about the device but I find it annoying during movies. Others love it so to each their own.
