Only works with 2.4 ghz internet, not 5ghz. Make sure you have dual band internet to be able to connect this!

This device is worth every penny! I purchased this as a gift for my husband during Christmas. We have hue products already in the home and this one was missing. Everything comes together perfectly! We should have purchased this sooner!

This is my second Philip Hue Light strip. Bought my entire lights setup from Best Buy!!!

I thought this was a little pricey but I had a little extra and it makes gaming more fun movies more fun just everything all my hue lights now pair to this Box and the light changes color and brightness based on what's happening on the screen cool gadget

This is a really cool feature but I am not sure the technology is up to the task. When it works its awesome. I have the gradient strip and 2 side lamps. I frequently have to unplug the inputs to get it to work and the setup (and apps) leave a lot to be desired

Having the hue sync box brings a whole new experience to watching movies at home! It gives you the feeling of being in the same room as the film

Easy setup. Works just like you would expect. I loke it, wife doesn't.

Having some issues with the performance of this device. I've found some online materials that indicate this conflicts with Wemo switched outlets (which I have on my network) and this may be the cause of my issue. I will update if I can remove the conflict and this solves my issue.

I like the effect of lights through hue sync box. I set up 10 lights with sync box. Now the experience of watching TV reached to another level. I really love to watch movies with hue sync and with Sonos wireless surround sound system.

Ive been an avid Hue user for years and was excited for some Bias lighting for my tv which I felt was long overdue but this is just a nightmare of a product. So many HDR cut outs despite swapping hdmi cables and ensuring CEC and Arc is on and unexplained restarts by the sync app which is hard enough to get running and on top of that? The price. Do yourself a favor and go check out the Govee Sync Box instead. Much less hassle and while it may not work AS well as the Phillips it’s much cheaper and does the job. Stay away from this product.

Only thing I dont like is not being able to switch inputs with out the app

Its is difficult to get this device paired with a harmony remote hub.

I’m using with hue indoor and outdoor strip lights as well as bulbs in my home theater. . Definitely adds a whole new dimension to the viewing experience! Easy setup, fun creating entertainment zones. If you’re into hue lights this is a great addition!!!

Syncs up quickly with whatever you've got plugged into it. I haven't noticed any input lag playing games. Only difficulty is that our TV is on a dark blue wall, so the colors fight against that.

OMG WOW - if you have hue lights this is a must. Expensive but worth the money. Amazing light effects that match your movie or tv show. Has 4 hdmi ports and one out to tv so you can sync your lights with movies, tv and gaming!

We have this color bulbs and light all around the house and having so we had to get this to feel the effect when watching tv and seeing the color change in its own depending what is going on with what you are watching

So this works pretty well if you don't care about high end video. I can confirm that even with two outputs on a receiver this device will cause the whole connection to drop the quality of the HDMI throughout the chain. With the sync connected my devices would no longer recognize HDR properly and a number of streaming apps on the Chromecast downgraded the video quality to HD vs 4k. Definitely does not support Dolby Vision as I tested that with the Irishman. Overall I'm super disappointed and wish hue would just work with TV manufacturers to add some sort of hue support to their apps or something. Going to be searching for some kind of alternative.
