Love the effect, it definitely gives movies an added effect!

Perfectly syncs your Hue lights to whatever you are watching. Completely enhances any viewing experience. Highly recommend to anyone who loves relaxing at home and enjoying a good movie or any kids that want that extra touch to any game you play.

Amazing Hue product. This takes the colors on screen and turns them into a wonderful visual spectacle. I have multiple hue lights around the TV for this reason now and it’s add so much life and character to any movie or game!

This product is very buggy. I’m using it along side an Apple TV 4K (2021). It often does not work even when the app says the box is syncing. The only fix is to hold the reset button for 20 seconds until it turns back on. Which at that point makes me question the 250$ price tag. The pros are that it looks amazing when synced to music and movies. The cons are that it is incredibly buggy. This should be priced at most 80-100 bucks considering the headaches you’ll encounter.

Such a fun upgrade to our entertainment area! Sure it has some annoyances but my experience is nowhere near the other reviewers. Just follow the directions and make sure you have a strong internet connection.

The hue sync box is very easy to set up and use. It makes watching movies or playing video games that much more immersive. One negative is that I wish there would be HDMI 2.1 support. Maybe that will be in an upcoming model.

I’ve had the sync box for about 10 months now and have mixed feelings about it. When this thing works it’s great. However I’ve started to have issues with picture cutting out on my connected devices. I’ve also experienced the annoying issue of it switching randomly to other devices that I’m not using for example I could be on my Apple TV and it would randomly switch to my Blu-ray or Roku devices. I disconnected some of my devices and connected them straight to Tv with the same Hdmi cables and the picture no longer cuts out, so I don’t think it’s the hdmi cables. I regret this purchase.

my wife got me this for my birthday It was difficult to set up at first because of the way my system is but I was able to pass through ARC after finding a setting in the application. It is very much fun to watch and it great product.

Needs a pass thru when not in use! You always have to turn off and on.

The sync box is a must have to include in hue light system. It is a bit pricey and a little difficult to setup but is worth it when you see the amazing depth of picture from the lights syncing from movies or video games!

Adds an element of scale to gaming and watching TV that’s incomprehensible in videos.. there’s no going back once you’ve added Philips hue lights and this sync box.

I’m a big fan of Phillips and the Hue product line. I’ve been using the hue sync app on my PC for sometime (PC does not require this box). The technology is great and the dynamic bias lighting is really fun. I purchased this box so that I could extend this function to my TV devices. The box just isn’t ready for retail though. -Video feed constantly drops to a black screen. -Only 2 of the HDMI ports support HDR/4K. -The device doesn’t auto detect the TV (requires a usb Cable that isn’t provided) so you have to use the app to turn on your box (which means you have to have your phone handy to use your TV). Was really bummed out that this made it to retail in its current form. I would advise those interested to wait for reviews of the next iteration of this device.

Great syncing to inputs wish it did Dolby formats slightly overpriced

We got this and hooked up light strips to the back of the TV. It makes watching TV and movies so much more enjoyable. I really love this and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of buying it. It really enhances the TV.

Bought one for the living room TV and one for the home theater room.

Only had for a short period of time so far but I have this paired with the Philips Gradient 75" light strip and this is amazing! It brings your movies and gaming to a whole new level! Highly Recommend!!

It’s not life changing but it works and adds a little something extra to watching movies and such - don’t expect this to work with smart TV - had to use it on The TV with Apple TV which is not the tv I bought it for but I like it.

Love this thing. I wish it worked with 4K HDR but besides that it's wonderful. I use it on my TV, PS5, and Apple TV. When it's hooked up to the strip light it makes for an amazing experience.
