Can be a pain to set up but once i got it, it was amazing! Currently using the bars but planning to get the strip. Only complaint is no LAN connection

Easy to plug and play. Haven't tried it with my Chromecast for tv yet but hope it works. Have it with my ps5 and words very well so far.

Perfect for my TV/Entertainment area. I love it here

Best Buy ended up selling a open box version that did not work. I know this cause i exchanged it and the new one had plastic wrapping around unit itself unlike the first one i bought. The new unit works great so far.

this is so disappointing. I've been waiting to get one of these. I would get the lights to sync and start changing colors, but 10m into a movie - it stops syncing (colors stops changing). there's a reason why there are so many refurbished that comes available on / off. its likely because the return rate is so high. and the hue tech support is useless! I'm using an asus wifi 6 router and a hue gen 2 bridge. I've tried a bunch of stuff to turning off dual stream (separating 2.4 / 5), new hdmi cable's, reset (over and over), drop down to HDR instead of DoVi, just keeps having the same issue of losing sync. I have a LG CX display w Sonos Arc. these are super popular items and this interop mess or whatever it is/ makes me sad

I didn’t think this would be worth it at the price, but it truly creates the ultimate viewing experience. Paired the sync with the 65” gradient and highly recommend

New to HUE but when I learned about this and the gradient light strip it was a must have. Solid purchase, great quality. Box was built way better than I anticipated.

I love having this box to connect to my play lights while watching tv. It adds to the viewing experience tremendously! Would purchase again.

I purchased this more as an HDMI switcher than for light sync. This from my testing is the best HDMI switcher havent had any problems compared to other 4k switchers.

Undwhelming at price point. Seperate app to use from rest of philips hue, updates to app constantly cause problems. Slow to respond. Inputs wont work unless you turn the box on

This product works as expected. Love this box. I highly recommend anything from hue. You get what you pay for. Works really well with alexa. If you don't get this you’re missing out.

Sync box is a must have for anyone who wants to customize their home lighting. With awesome apps and a hue setup, connection is seamless

Let me just say, I love my Hue lights & I've been waiting MONTHS for the sync box to come back in stock. The second I was notified that it was available, I ordered it & not-so-patiently waited for it to arrive. The second I got home, I ripped it open & plugged it in. I was very excited to see this thing in action. Unfortunately we never got there. This thing WILL NOT connect to our wifi no matter what. Now we are not tech-challenged by any means. Our entire home is equipped with smart home devices. But this box made us look stupid. How hard is it to simply connect a device to wifi, right? WRONG. This thing is impossible & has frustrated us all night. I saw several reviews on here exactly like the one I’m writing & chalked it up to “oh, well that reviewer probably doesn’t know what they’re doing.” What I DIDNT check was the Hue Sync app reviews & let me tell you, they are awful. Had I seen those, maybe I would have realized what a widespread problem this is with this product. Boy did I learn my lesson. Maybe I got a defective one (along with 200+ others? Doubtful) I don’t know & at this point, I don’t care- it will be returned first thing in the morning. I would give it 0 stars if I could- I hate this stupid little box.

I have to say that overall I’m disappointed in the inconsistency of the product. Sometimes it just stops working and you have to reset. This can get frustrating. We almost took it back.

I have had this for less than a day and I will be returning it to the store very soon. I bought both the sync box and the 65” gradient strip for my LG 4K OLED tv and Denon AVR-3500h, PS4 pro setup, and the sync box is constantly loosing the signal. It’s lost the signal 4 times in the time it’s taking me to write this review. I thought it was me for a moment but after reading the reviews I’m glad that I’m not alone. This seems to be known issue due to a premature release. At almost $500 I won’t be contacting support nor am I interested in being a beta tester. When it works it works great but when it goes out it’s kind of a pain to get everything up and running again. Great concept just very premature. Hit me up when you have a product that’s fully functional and supports 4K hdr and maybe then I will try again.

Yes, it's pricey. Yes, it's worth it, especially if you're already invested in Hue lighting. It works great and is simple to set up. We no longer miss the theater!

Unfortunately the device would not sync when Dolby Vision content was playing on my devices. I tried the troubleshooting steps to no avail.

I finally purchased this and begun to use with my Apple TV and Blu Ray Player. It had a lot of settings and it worked great for watching a live concert.
