Too buggy for the price point

The parts and pieces are there for this product to be fantastic but performance isn’t up to snuff yet. Especially at a $250 cost after tax. I had to reset the unit regularly as my lights would not properly echo the on-screen brightness and color cues. On several occasions during my week or so of ownership, the system would glitch out and my tv would lose signal for whatever input I was using and the content I was streaming would stop. This never happened before I installed it or since I returned it. I’d be willing to be a guinea pig at $150 all in but this thing is just too expensive for such a disappointing product experience. Love the idea but the execution is lacking.

Sync stops at random; doesn’t switch inputs

However, after about an hour of syncing, the lights just stay off. I have to restart the box to get it to sync again. The auto switching also doesn’t work. There seems to be no way to program the command into a learning remote either, so you’re stuck with using the app. Torn between returning the unit or waiting for a firmware upgrade — if this problem is even solvable with an upgrade.
