The provide some nice background light. I used them during Christmas as another layer of decoration. I had them transitioning between red and green. Perhaps it is just me, but I found that having a third party app makes setting schedules and transitions a bit easier than the standard apps.

I like that you can have them as standalone lights or mount them on the backs of your TV or computer monitor. I currently have them standing behind my dual monitor set up for working from home, and it just gives the home office a different vibe from the regular lights. Will definitely be getting a set for when I upgrade my TV!
