I would have given 5 stars if they weren’t so expensive. Philips hue products are awesome, but I feel they are a bit overpriced.

I bought these lights to add to a house already full of Hue bulbs and lightstrips. These things make a good addition and add a night accent light to your wall. However, for these things to work well they need to be positioned properly. It took me awhile to get a good position for it to both provide a nice accent light, but also keep it kinda hidden so you're not looking directly at the bulbs. The angles that the stands support are pretty much limited to 90/180 degrees. So that's a bummer. But overall decent product to add to your smart home.

Awesome product IF you have the Philips – Hue HDMI Sync Box to go along with it (It wasn’t completely clear that the light bars are just colored lights/don’t really do much without the HDMI Sync Box) but I will definitely be purchasing a second 2-pack of these lights in the near future.

these lights work with my existing hue bridge and also work great with hue sync app to get background light sync with video colors as well

Not the cheapest option, but the Hue Play lights provide great ambient light and works well with the Hue Sync box.

Purchased a lifx tile and it was horrible!! I already own several philips hue bulbs,strips. Don’t know why I bought that lifx tiles I guess it looked cool at the store but when I got home set up was horrible a nightmare! Returned them and bought the philips hue play. I’m so happy now they are definitely worth it!! Stay away from lifx!
