These things make a good addition and add a night accent light to your wall. However, for these things to work well they need to be positioned properly. It took me awhile to get a good position for it to both provide a nice accent light, but also keep it kinda hidden so you're not looking directly at the bulbs. The angles that the stands support are pretty much limited to 90/180 degrees. So that's a bummer. But overall decent product to add to your smart home.

Philips hue has the best smart lights!
