If you've got the extra money lying around and you have a Bridge and/or Sync Box to connect these to, go for it. Otherwise, I can't really recommend unless you're just looking for some ambience. There's not much to say about these other than they are lights. I can sync them with my music and my movies and my games, but they're really just lights. I love them, they're fun to play with and the color spectrum feels full. However, the software and hardware to make them work is where most of the cost should be, but these lights are more than the equipment needed to make them work a lot of the time. It feels underdeveloped, like I should be able to do more with them on their own, but you really can't unless you've got a Sync Box or a Bridge.

These Hue lights behind my tv are nice it expands the screen.

Literally blends well when Im gaming! You can synce it with your comouter, and game to match the environment!

I love these lights and they help to set up the atmosphere in my entertainment area. Just what I wanted, but wished I could control the lights manually vs through the app or Alexa.

Bought these to try out with my home theatre setup and ended up really liking the ambient light. Being able to connect it to things like Alexa or HomeKit is great. You will need the Bridge for these, however. Despite Philips Hue being a little more expensive than many competitors, I am planning to purchase another set of these.

Small...can't use them separately. I ended up returning it for that reason.

Dont syc to many apps. Movies and tv shows it dont work. Music it works well. It gets way to hot in a bed room. It gives off heat bad.

These are awesome lights that added on to my already wide array of Phillips Hue products. Had some issues with my guaranteed shipping date and them showing up a week late but it was over the holidays and we had a winter storm so I couldn't get too upset

Definitely make the gaming experience a lot cooler by adding lights that react too the screen behind my monitor. Only reason i removed one star is because it came missing the screw and double sided tape that it claims to include in the box. Easy fix by just going to home depot but still annoying

These are some of the best items from Phillips Hue you can own. Very versatile on where they can be used.

Bought these as an additional set as I already have one. These work great behind a computer monitor or tv. Work great with or without the Hue Sync Box. Just make sure you have the Hue app.

Pros It is what it is for spending over a hundred on a light. Remember to buy a hue bridge in order to control light color. Cons The box was opened before when I receive.

I bought the Philips - Hue Play White & Color Ambiance Smart LED Bar Light (2-Pack) - Multicolor. It is cool I have it behind my TV. The sync with the TV is really cool, it just took a while to tweak it to account for the delay via chromecast.

Product works great! Connected it to the windows app and it syncs music and games from Spotify and Steam. The lights really do help create a much more vibrant atmosphere and the sync makes it that much better!
