decent if you have a small/medium TV 55" or less; otherwise too narrow to light up well (+/-) colors are as advertised (+) cheap material (-) expensive (-) versatile (+) sync feature only with computer (--)

Have these installed in my tv room. Look pretty cool when its dark.

i prefer the goovee tv light as it is easier to apply

Hue bars are all the rave. I love the fact that I can choose from so my different colors and I can control the brightness as well

Purchased this for my wife as she had been wanting this. She has finally hooked it up and loves it. It synch's with spotify and has multiple colors for her liking. Definitely a great buy

It’s literally just a plain useless light unless you spend another $60 on the hub. The description was worded like you could get a least a feature or two without the hub. You can only turn it on and off though. Just got off the road from work and opened it up this morning, got on here to return it but my last day to return was yesterday :(

decent light bar but requires to be in the phillips hue eco system

I really like the color combinations but I wish that they better integrated with televisions, you will get the full effect of this product when using it on a computer. Using a computer and the accompanying app allows the display colors to extend to the lights but without the computer when just using a tv you can only set it to predefined or personnally created schemes.

Even if you have a bridge I'd get the hue light strips instead

If you don't want to use the light strip to light up your TV, this is the perfect solution. I bought the one that contains 2 light bars in one package. Setup was a breeze. Each on comes with two stands - one for vertical mount so you can stand them up on your TV stand and the second option is the stick-on mount of you want to attach them to the back of your TV. I used the vertical mounts and found just fine. The surprise was in the power module for these - it comes with three!!! output jacks, so you can power up three light bars without needing 3 outlets. Very thoughtful! Their brightness of 550 lumens was good enough to create a prefect ambiance and I truly enjoyed it. (Remember that 1st gen of hue light was rated only at 600 lumens) I am still thinking about buying the 3rd one and mount them on the back of my TV with the 3rd one in the middle but then it becomes a somewhat expensive solution, however offset by its versatility. As I said I bought for my TV but these compact bars can be used in place of Iris, Hue Go or any other accent lights throughout the house

I returned this item due to needing a couple hundred dollar HDMI adapter to connect to my tV. Too much money for a bit of effect.

The fact that I can put these behind my monitor and it syncs with my other hue lights makes movies and gaming so much more immersive.

the box missing some mounting hardware, i had to return it to the store and bought the 2 light pack one

Honestly it was an overpriced light. You can get better and cheaper for a way better quality and more functions.
