Great item for even more control over your Philips Hue lighting. Comes with multiple options for syncing lights/scenes and looks super sleek. Highly recommended!

If I didn't have to pay for it, I would have given it 6 stars.

I absolutely love this Hue Tap Dial Switch. It is the best thing ever. I use it everyday to turn on all my lights in my office and guest room. I love the simplicity of it and how you can customize it to your liking. You can use it various rooms that has Philips lights installed.

This is a great little switch. It's been very reliable and is convenient for when I don't want to bark commands at a voice assistance. Programming the 4 different buttons works well, and the scroll wheel works well for very fine-tuned dimming needs.
While I typically leave the base and button attached to each other and sitting on a side table, this would do well hung up on a wall or something.

I've long been a Hue user, but one drawback has always been when it gets dark due to storms or you want the lights on brighter for parties you had to open the app and go through the process. This is an easy device for family members to use, they can push one button and all the lights in that group are on. You can also adjust them like a traditional dimmer would do. When I heard this was released, I searched to find a store with one in stock.

This product from Hue is amazing. It comes out of the woodwork guns blazing taking on its old, clunkier counterpart - the Hue Tap.
They don't need batteries because they are piezoelectric, do their job wonderfully, but the new Hue Tap switch comes with so many new tricks. It comes in a base, where it attaches magnetically in a horizontal, or even vertical surface, to look like a light switch right in your home. Unlike the Hue tap, it comes in BLACK AND WHITE colors. The buttons are even more programmable, and the jog dial makes gradual control easy and fun. The jog dial is smooth, with the right amount of resistance and feels like a premium audio device volume knob.
You can even pull the dial out, take it with you elsewhere, like we do on our coffee table, and the rubber surface lets it stay while you rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise to do its thing.

If you have anything that is a Phillips hue then this is the perfect dimmer. I had purchased the 3 button dimmer switch but the ability to turn down the lights instead of press is so much nicer and convenient. Highly recommend.

Set up is always easy with Hue as I had it up and working within just a few minutes. I really like the dial functionality for dimming and being able to have multiple presets.

I use this particular dial in my garage going into the house. I also have one by the front room. They are great to have because other wise you would have to open your phone, open the app, then access your lights. With this you just click one of the four buttons which can be customized to your liking and that it. Really great to have

When its all set up its amazing. Works as intended and separated the zones in my room as needed. Dont need the app for simple dimming of different zones without naming it something other than bedroom. The set up was horrible. Pop up about it working after 24 hours. Philips made me change the battery and it still didnt work. Had to exchange it as the unit was defextive.
