Good smart light, but it would be nice if the Hue lights were able to be programmed to turn on at 100% brightness and to the color you set

This bulb is exactly was I was waiting for. I don't need color bulbs in my kitchen, but I do want to be able to have different white temperature, depending on what I am doing, and those bulbs are working perfectly and easily. Plus, with the Hue Hub, they even work with Siri and the new Home app on your iPhone.

I was hesitant to buy the color br30 bulbs because of cost. These bulbs are great for my kitchen where I wouldn't need the color bulbs.

These are very bright and perfect for a work area. Even though they are dimmable they could be a little stark for some rooms.

These lights are tunable to the hue of white. From crisp to daytime. The crisp hue is fantastic for cooking, cleaning, organizing; while the daytime is easy on the eyes for all other parts of the day. The dimmable nature of LED lights also make these a no brainer.

We recently renovated out basement, installed recessed lights, and decided to use these bulbs. These wonderfully integrate with the rest of our smart home, and the adjustability of the color is just awesome. I suggest these to all my friends and family!

It’s cheaper to add a smart bulb to a light fixture than it is to add a smart switch, but keep in mind you can use any bulb you like with a smart switch. My only complaint is that I only like a 2700 kelvin light temperature (nice amber color that incandescent has). This bulb is adjustable from a really ugly blue 3900 kelvin down to the warm 2700, however when compared side by side to a 2700 kelvin incandescent bulb, the incandescent gets the gold medal for having a true, warm glow.

These are solid smart bulbs. I have one outside over the porch that I put in a few months ago and it’s still functioning properly. I have it setup to turn on if my Ring Doorbell detects motion. Works like a charm. Definitely worth the money if your investing in smart home toys.

If you have other Hue lights, this fits right into the mix. I use it in a recessed light above our kitchen sink. It is nice to be able to manage it without swapping out the switch. I use it with IFTTT to light the kitchen when the door unlocks, etc... Pretty nice!

Using these on our front porch where I wanted some automation without having to remember to turn the lights on and off. Perfect for this and they've been going strong for a while now without issue. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

Definitely wait for a sale, I went with the ambient over the white because of all the different shades.

Picked up on sale to add to my existing setup. Easy to setup and works great with Alexa and iOS app.

I really like the hue products. The BR30's work really well, though they can get to be a bit expensive.

After several months of use one of the bulbs fell out of the range or color. It lights more brightly than the others. I’ve tried resetting individual and all bulbs to reset colors to match but nothing’s worked. I’m switching Ching to standard dimmable for all and not ambience which actually cost more.

Plug and play, easy to setup and use. More responsive to HomeKit than Alexa. A bit pricey, but fun!

It took a few tries to get it all collected and linked property. Once I did it the set up works fine.

If you already have a Philips Hue, setup is remarkably easy. I love being able to control the warmth of the light in addition to the brightness. Would definitely recommend for someone already in the Philips Hue ecosystem.

Purchased this 2 pack for recessed ceiling lights in our front entryway. They are very bright and can be dimmed down to 1%. Color range is limited from warm to cool white tones only. This bulb does not feature a full color spectrum.

I am an avid HUE customer and love their products. These lights were being used for my home for the indoor entryway. They work on command, some minor delays at times, and can be integrated with my smartthings system and Nest Protects. The only issue I have is that they are not bright enough to be called a floodlight. I probably needs at least a 20% bump on the lumens. This is not an accurate value just an assumption.
