It's a light switch. But the light switch goes next to your switch. To make matters worse you have to make sure no one turns off the actual light switch. This forced me to Jerry rig my light switch with a switch plate that looks janky but gets the job done.

This switch works great with the Philips hue lights!

This dimmer does the job. Inwould recommend to a friend.

Didn't I already have a switch? yes it has a dimmer and works without completely resetting my bulb. I guess the advantage is that I can control 4 lights at one time but do I really want to turn on all 4 lights at the same time all the time? I have to wonder...

This switch only controls one bulb. I would be much happier with this of it were able to control a set of lights instead of only one. I have a dual head lamp in my living room. I now have the switch beside my bed, controlling the bedroom light.

I bought this to combine with the lights in my sons nursery to quickly turn on and off the lights in a rush but it isn't always quick. Sometimes it requires multiple pushes to turn on and off. When it works it works great.

Having a physical button is convenient. It’s worked pretty well for us but it gets lost easily if taken out of its magnetic holder. Had some small issues with responsiveness but works well 95 percent of the time.

For some reason these dimmer switches just stop working. I have to delete from the system and add them back to work again. But when they do work, they are great to control your HUE lighting.

buttons dont always work on the first push. sometimes i have to hold the button down before the lights starts to change.

It’s a good idea and super convenient when it works but unfortunately they don’t always work. I would say they work about 40% of the time.

I am only giving it a 3 star because the way I interpreted the writeup, it was a full wallmount product that replaced the switch. Also will not work if wifi is down.

Dimmer is good product but you can get an extra bulb for less than if bought separately if you get them packaged together. Going to return and get the package.

I ended up returning this. I don't know we just use our phones when I want to dim a light. I bet it works fine. It just seems like I didn't need it.
