Remote work amazing. Great substitute for electric switch. It's even better since it a remote you can use it from anywhere. I actually have two. One in the living room and bedroom. Set up is easy. Not to mention way cheaper than rewiring for it. And you get so much flexibility and the freedom to move them about round your home. Long this line of products. I also have the sensor, not set up yet.

Overall I love this smart switch and found it to be a great addition to the setup. I will preface by stating that originally I had issues with my Hue setup becoming unresponsive after installing this. I am not sure if it is related but I switched the hub’s channel and I haven’t had any issues since. The first time setup was a bit of a pain if I am being honest but after I reset the unit twice I was able to pair without any further mishaps (docking a star for this). Installation on the wall was extremely simple with the included adhesive and I think it looks great. To finish– I think this unit is a great addition to any homeowner looking to add a tangible switch for any guests who might not be comfortable asking Alexa to turn off the lights.

Can not get any easier to install. You can use the switch for the light but then you have to go to app. and turn off to get back on original settings. It slides off base and you can control light from your seat.

I bought some hue bulbs to replace existing bulbs in recess light, great. But then if I use the physical switch on the wall to turn it off, I can't turn it on verbally. If you install a smart switch, it won't work very well either. This switch acts like a regular switch on the wall, or you can pop it off and use it as a remote control. Yeah it's a little weird to have both hue switch and regular switch side by side, but it works great.

This hue dimmer switch is amazing! I purchased this to allow my room lights to be controlled outside of my phone and smart home system. After buying one for the master bedroom and it being so easy to setup I decided to purchase 5 more for the other bedrooms. Set up takes less than 5 minutes and they stick to the wall anywhere and will not fall off easily. For the price it's a high quality product that's affordable. Hats off to Phillips for another great product.

It's the cheapest philips hue switch I've found. Here's my pro/con list: Pros: - Usually works pretty fast - Pressing the "on" button multiple times can cycle through multiple selected themes - Back is magnetic - Part of it can be detached and used as a remote Cons: - Sometimes there is a delay - The dimming feature is VERY incremental and takes multiple button presses to actually dim the lights a good amount. Overall, this is not good as a dimmer switch, but great to turn the lights on and off and cycle through modes without having to pull out a phone, open the app, let it connect, then slide through all of the options.

I would recommend this product. It is very easy to use, and very easy to install.

I purchased several Philips Hue bulbs and found that Alexa could not communicate with the bulbs if the light switch was turned off by hand. So now I use this as the switch instead of the regular wall switch. I covered up my regular wall switch with a switch cover so no one would bother it. Now I can always tell Alexa to turn the lights on or off with no problem.

Very happy with the dimmer switch. Able to connect quickly and dims the bulb as needed.

Great addition to the hue setup. Easy to integrate to existing setup and works every time (which I can't say about the smartphone app) and dim and bright buttons make it even easier to set a brightness

I absolutely love this remote. It's simple yet has many features! The ON button can cycle through different scenes--the default ones or the ones you created! The remote is magnetic so you can remove it and take it with you. I ended up buying another one of these remotes just so I could dim my living room even though I have a Hue Tap! Very convenient. I haven't had these long enough to know how long the batteries last.

I have them throughout the house. The best advantage is that they can control multiple zones (you create your own zone). Great for a 70 year old house because I can add switches without new wiring. For example, I added two recessed lights powered off existing globe light. So one mechanical switch, but two Hue switches — one for the globe light and one for the recessed light. Bathroom switch is set for first tap dim when getting up during the night and second tap for bright. Down side is that I could not set a single switch to turn on globe bulbs on first tap, turn on recessed lights with second tap, and both lights with third tap.

This comes in handy when I can't easily get to my phone & the Hue app.

Additional color options would be nice, and it would be nice if these were $5 cheaper, but they're still worth every penny. Sometimes you want a switch for your smart lights, rather than voice control, and these give you that. They also solve the problem of your lights no longer responding to voice control because someone flipped the wall switch.

It’s a light switch so functionality wise I almost didn’t buy it because you technically have light switches already. But in order to have the option to use google home and have a switch you can press this worked well. The switch is portable and magnetic so when im going upstairs and don’t want to be in darkness I can take the switch with me and turn everything downstairs off once I’m upstairs. It’s great.

I would recommend this switch over Hue's Tap switch. Easier to control and the dimming is super useful.

Easy to setup and use. Nice that it does not require electric hookup so I was able to put it anywhere
