Use this to turn on all lights in certain rooms for when I get home when it's dark. It is magnetic so it can stick in the inside of my door. It can also be stuck to fridge or somewhere else with double sided tape

It doesn’t always connect with the hue bridge and it is like 10 feet away from it. Besides that it works great. The ability to remove it from the wall is great.

I love the Philips Hue lights and this switch makes using them that much easier. You can program the actions of the lights and it's so much easier and more convenient than using the phone app.

So the switch it great to turn on the lights we have but with Apple HomeKit it can be configured to do anything on the home network you ask it not just your Hue lights.

You can control lights by room and dim them or you can add the remote to HomeKit and create a routine to control multiple lights and devices and switch them on and off.

The Hue Remote is very easy to setup and config for your hue lights. Makes turning on/off and dimming very simplistic. My wife hated using the app to turn on the lights so I bought this to make our lives easier.

Home use: Let me just tell you..the entire line of Phillips Hue products are amazing. I use the switch and bulbs throughout my house (inside and outside) and they are perfect. The best application I found for this was for my 5 year old son who likes to sleep with a night light. I put this switch next to his bed and put the bulb in a night stand lamp. He goes to his bedroom and dims the switch to give him a comfortable level of brightness and then falls asleep! Outside I use these around the parameter of my home and trust me when I tell you they are able to withstand the heaviest of rains! The timer allows me to have the lights turn on when it is dark and turn off in the morning! Simply put, the switch and the lights are amazing!

I have multiple Hue lights in the house and added this switch to the bedroom so we didn’t always have to use Alexa or our phone to turn the lights on. Easy setup in hue app.

Very slim and light switch that can have it's mount applied to a wall and then this switch sticks to it magnetically, or you can keep this switch in your pocket or on a table or night stand to easily be able to turn your lights on or off or dim them. This switch can also be programmed through the Hue software to do different features other than the default ones. For instance you could probably set the color temperature to change with with the brightness controls instead of the default feature. This does require a small battery, however. But it is cheaper than the mechanical switch that doesn't require batteries and it has more buttons and possibilities.

While the Hue app is nice and Alexa voice control is nice, sometimes you just want to use a switch. It literally takes 2 min to install and program. I have 6 now in my setup.

It was very easy to set up and gives local control to the guest room so there is no fussing with the app for guests. Also use ione in the bathroom so I don't have to get phone out in the middle of the night.

Personally, I can't use Hue lights without this dimmer switch. It is far too inconvenient to pull out a phone just to use every day lights. This is the perfect solution. I have 4 of them. Super easy to set up.

Mounted this directly next to my existing switch for the lights. Works as advertised. Now if I can just get the rest of the household to remember not to use the original switch.
