Great switch. No need for wiring. You can place it anywhere you want in the house or use it as a remote control

I purchased three of these for our apartment, which has several rooms that have no overhead lights (only switched outlets). On the plus side, the Hue dimmer switches are featured packed. You can set the "on" button to cycle through scenes and there's dimmer buttons. On the downside, the switches are finicky at times and don't always work. They also do not directly cover a normal switch. So you either need to mount it next to an existing switch. Or, buy a 3rd party adapter to cover the existing switch. I ended up replacing these with Lutron Aurora dimmers. They have fewer features, but mount directly to the switch plate and work more reliably.

Perfect product. Can connect to 2 rooms for control at once. Being able to put this wherever I want is a huge plus.

This remote works good my only complaint is that it does not work with the z-wave.
